Hello!
My independent manufacturing venture, TK101, is looking for some reliable and efficient contractors to assist in the production chain of t2 equipment.
Currently I am setting up trial distribution contracts through a closed bidding process to interested parties. This will involve a multi-stage contract that begins with a lower distribution volume to gauge reliability of the contractor, and scales up to my desired capacity over the space of a few months, allowing us to establish some familiarity with one another before committing large amounts of time or money to the venture.
What I require -
An eve-mail to me offering a closed bid that includes the following: -Unit price delivered to hi-sec in Placid (no low-sec from Jita, so limited transport danger) -Cutoff volumes at which lower unit prices are available, and what those are -Your maximum deliverable volume of the component per week -Your minimum volume required for weekly delivery of product -To improve transparency, please indicate whether you would like to receive feedback on your bid should it be unsuccessful.
Please include this information for each component contract you wish to bid for--but please, if you bid for multiple contracts, don't list each component volume as if you were committing all your resources to manufacturing it. Neither of us want a shortfall if my production really takes off. Because of this concern, multi-component bids from a single source will not be weighted favorably compared to single-component bids, though they will be considered fairly.
Component Contracts Sought:
Deflection Shield Emitter Electrolytic Capacitor Unit Ladar Sensor Cluster Nanomechanical Microprocessor Nuclear Reactor Unit Plasma Thruster
Thank you for your bids. I anticipate that this closed solicitation process will end and initial contracts will be selected by 00:00 eve time on February 15.

$%!* Forum eating my post.... I had this snarky thing all written out....
Long story short, your proposal is better for you than your suppliers, so expect to pay a premium.
I'll charge 15% over mat costs (Jita ask for composites) for my manufacturing time. (this will be cheaper than the average premium of 20% markup you'll find on Jita ask for your desired components, but more expensive than the 5% markup on Jita bid prices)
Plus a flat 5 mil delivery fee, since i get the burden of logistics.

feedback appriciated, especially considering I used the forums... for full transparency. |

Thanks for your response, Lando. I assume because you didn't differentiate, that you are able and willing to provide all of these components? What kind of total volume are you able to provide given your other manufacturing commitments? You can use whatever time increment you like--per day, per week, per month. |

For now, I could easily do... DSE10,080 ECU10,080 NM 13,440 PT 10,080 LSC 10,080 NRU 3,360 units Weekly.
If I optimized some slots I could do double that.
If you're looking at bigger quantities, then let me know what you need.
EDIT... bad maths |
