You have reached the end game of EVE when you realise you are wasting your time and there are way better things to do than virtual work and paid bug testing.

OPs post reminds me of Tyler Durden's speach in Fight Club.
Hey, why not start a Fight Club Alliance, where the goal isn't to kill anyone else, but to kill each other. Since you'd be in the same Alliance, you could engage each other anywhere, anytime. Everyone could create their own Corp and be their own CEO, so there isn't one omnipotent dude who knows and has access to everything.
Yeah. Awesome idea, I know.
EDIT: Yeah, this has nothing to do with the thread... I'm just rambling.

If you're really looking for some action though, fund some money into a few corporations to go and invade anywhere where ISK farmers are and war dec their corporations.
I can't remember where I heard it (somewhere on the forums though), but apparently there is an ISK farming corporation in the drone regions that have a Nyx. Fund some corporations to go take it down if it's not just a myth. _____________________________ Thorek Ironbrow of Ironbrow Industries Co. Options:
1. Walk the earth, like Caine from Kung Fu. Meet people. Get into adventures.
2. Become the one mastermind of the universe that pulls all the strings, manipulating markets and alliances alike. Become a legend--a myth--until you have the power to create and to destroy empires without even logging in.
3. Pull one last great caper. Contrive a poetic spectacle so far-gone it leaves everyone dumb and stumbling over "Oh my God" and "This is unbelievable." Write yourself into the story of this universe in a way no one before you has. Then disappear.
4. Continue trading until, by degrees, aspects of your wealth become autonomous and at times strive against each other, warring at the fiscal extremities.
I think it mostly boils down to one thing: become the magic in which you wish you could believe. It's either that or reroll Horde.
Cheers,

Edited by: Kyai Ki on 11/01/2008 23:14:58 Ever read vagabond in a stabber? basically is the story of a dude who gives up all his money and decides to go see the ends of the universe (literally). If what you are doing now bores you, stop it and go do something else. have random fun - get a set of smartbombing BSes at jita-4-4 and fix the lag issues. Smack around .01 isk undercutters with 40% price drops. Have mercenaries beat the sh** outta anyone who's ****ed you off. Go make some noob really happy (btw, i qualify as "some noob"). Ever heard of chribba's love project? Do something like that.
Hoestly, when you are rich enough to not worry about isk, the game gets a hell of a lot more fun.

well, some things don't exist anymore, so it's a bit difficult, and mines are a bit pricey nowadays...
The funny thing about EVE, the biggest thing that makes it different from any other game, is the fact that it doesn't give you any goals - you have to make your own.
but yea, just how much isk do you have? until you are a billionaire, you're still a bit aways from the endgame, mate.

Originally by: LaVista Vista Well. Eventually there comes a time in a traders life, where hes got his hands on a double to triple digit amount of millions isk. And then what?
ISK cant buy you anything but ships these days. Everybody can almost do everything now. The truely brilliant people(Im not saying im one) dont seem to shine as much more. The mast vajority of EVE is now controlled by the amount of T1 frigates you can gather, how fast you can blow up a POS, or how many hours per day you wanna babysit buy orders.
Space is flooded now. You are just another number in the whole population. You can only buy more stuffs, or make more money. As a lone player, who has a lot of resources at hand, you cant make a difference.
One could create a new empire. But really, this just isnt doable really.
Whats your goal with eve? And do you even see yourself make a difference?
so youre the rich merchant of eve... do like the merchant of venice did: donate to poors - that's how the movie ended iirc, but only after getting a pound of flesh from each pirate

I want to do trading, thats my endgame. For now, due to limit time and isk basically, I'm investing in mission whoring. Currently fully fitted domi + rigs, and some nice officer modules. Missioning is fun, so i'll have this as an alternative if i get a bit bored of trading/waiting for trades or so. Ultimate goal: Billions. So I can do some pvp at some point without getting fed up losing isk XD ---sig---

My short-term goal in eve is to get skilled at PVP combat... so far im 0 and 1...
Long-term would be to have fun and keep playing for free, ISK for game time codes = free play for me... which is cool. I just keep enjoying what im doing and thats all that matters. I dont want or need to be the most famous guy in space, just a guy who is having fun...
May be kinda lame, but oh well. Good enough for having a goal in a game.

my biggest frustration as a pvper has always been that my corpmates are constantly short on isk. i am always well equipped, but its not worth as much to fly a faction fitted CS when all your corpmates are in inferior ships.
so if i was in your position, i would start my own corp and be extremely selective about who i let in, but everyone who passes my standards of skill and trustworthyness would get a large supply of corp-provided t2 ships and gear, so that i always have very well-equipped gang mates to fly with.
