Originally by: Homo Erectus Hey kitten. You show the reason why BoB (and Evol) will never die. Let me explain:
We like killing bookends. For example, a large portion of Evol, including me, came from Homeworld multiplayer long, long ago. We killed children there until the WON lobby became a ghost town with age. Why do I use this? Your corp (better known as the OMG VERY SCARRY DARK ANGEL BATTALION) were one of our favorite foods. Aside from Shamrock, they were filled with adolescents that thought they were good, yet died in hordes.
Oh, I'm sorry Anue. I didn't mean for our first forum confrontation in 4 years to result in you being broken in half.
Your explanation was more confusing then the original. You shoulda stopped at "BoB and Evol will never die"
I wasn't directing my post to you, I was directing it to Anue. That should have been obvious via the quote and immediate response. And, although the difference is negligible, he is actually more intelligent than you.
I suppose I could do this 1st grader style just for you:
As long as their are targets, we will shoot at them.

You're all are to speak about how TCF suck in pvp here. If you have nothing to say about it, you're all offtopic. Then close the thread.
Or at least say how much we suck.
Looking forward, 2isk

I like how BoB's 150 man fleet ran away from a 40 man MC gang today. apparently the fight wasn't epic enough for them when MC refused to jump into their gatecamp

Don't think so much of yourself little man. You show the reason why BoB should have died a long time ago.

My dear homo, you think this is a confrontation? You are sorely mistaken - I just made a statement of facts and your trying to change the course of the ensuing discussion, which I'm afraid wont happen.
This is EvE, not Homeworld, nor Planetarion (which another large section of your alliance came from).
You are quite lacking in your retorts - get more practice and the slight at my name, thats just petty.
Aneu
Hi. As it was long ago when you would lose a battle in which you had many more pilots than us, then call even numbers and us using exploits 'factual', what you say is not. In all these years, I would have thought you trained up "forum banter" to level 2. Further, the statement "As long as there are targets, we will shoot at them." directly relates to our current (and common) situation in eve.
The consensus on irc is that you are still to small for me Anue, in more ways than one.
I fixed the typo in the original post, Yussef. Wouldn't want you blowing anything.

I see you have trained your 'Point Avoidance' skill quite high in your time off... as for the consensus - this again goes towards proving my point and you are just pushing it further.
And as i have stated, and as i will now re-iterate, your slight at my name is petty - its unbecoming of you and destructive towards your prior talents on this forum.

That's interesting. I've been told the story of EVOL and Homeworld by many different people, and none of them ever told it quite like that. I'm not surprised at that though, because if you guys were half as good at re-writing history then as you are now, I'm sure most of your membership believes that you were some godly, unstoppable force in Homeworld.
I'm sure you'll try and frame your time in EVE the same way in whatever game you lot play next.

It's not very smart to make fun of other alliances ability to conduct warfare after setting the EVE record in region losses.

That alone is a testimony to your arrogance. Nothing more, nothing less.
Arrogance is just the label stuck on people who are unashamed of their superiority. It is an admission of inferiority by those who use it.
I'm serious.
He's right you know. It's the same in most aspects of life. There are very few of us who are intelligent enough to go to the top universities in the country. We're in the minority, and we're usually mocked for it by the 'great unwashed' masses lower down the scale.

Let me think.. hmm no.
a long post is here required, since this is the core issue for many. and the root of many malfunctioning behaviours that propose to be superior and elitists.. the irony is not lost on those who know.
let me tell you how it is, that is if your malfunctioning ego can tolerate it without retorting in ignorance. the current social infrastructure, particularly in certain dominant (lol) countries is set up to be differential and elitist. garbage in garbage out.
these people who in some cases are pretty clever from a logical/mathematical/memorizing point of view (or what you can call monkey see monkey do) flock together in their ignorance in groups where they take turns on patting eachother on the back in groups of socalled "brothers". and they help eachother to control the world.
why? because they suffer from a terrific _inferiority complex_ and behave as a sad little kid that won't let go of his toys but want them all for himself and not wanting to share unless he is forced to.
they don't have enough in themselves, they need things and "power" to feel good about themselves, they don't have enough in themselves and are not happy about themselves. they need others to tell them how good they are, cause they are not sure they really are that good themselves, and honestly, that's cause they really aren't. their behaviour has dictated their near infinite arrogance _and_ ignorance the more they go down that path, and they won't ever be fully happy they will only con themselves into being happy with "power" and "things" for short durations, and then needing more and more of it, like a sad little approval addict looking for his next fix.
this quote (the top one) from a pretty cool movie sums it up nicely.
the so called elite, are actually and truthfully the sub humans they think others to be. operating at pretty much the lowest possible level of human potential, _and keeping others down so they can continue to do so. the irony is not lost on anyone who knows this.
like little children with parents giving them everything, and refusing to share, becoming just like their parents were. and those before them.
we each have been dealt certain cards, these cards do not make us better, they make our opportunities and our choice of purpose different, that is all.
having great power means _nothing_, it is how you decide to use it/the cards you have been dealt, that matters. something that you will ultimately hold yourself responsible for, whatever it is you do, with joy or regret? hmmm.. we shall see, when the end of your life is there, and all that you are and were will be reduced to ashes, and no gold or no riches or "superiority" or "intelligence" palaces can prevent it, and all that will be left of you is a footnote and a memory with those you leave behind, if not before, then atleast at that point you will know what life was supposed to be about and what you should have done. the irony is not lost on those who know.
it's all just a little bit of history repeating.
but but.. it doesn't have to be that way , the time of triumph is soon at hand. maybe you will partake in it too?

MENSA is a funny concept really. When I was younger I decided that it would be cool to be part of the intellectual elite, so I applied to join MENSA. Did the IQ tests, no problems. Got a letter back stating that I passed and that if I would just send the membership fee they would post me my membership pack and card.
I paused.
I called them and asked what I got for my money?
You know what you get? You get to tell people you are in MENSA.
And people pay for that? They must be dumb.
