How should I fit this ship for a level 4 mission? I found threads on fleet snipers and PvP blaster gankers, but nothing on how to tank and deal hurt in a level 4. I was thinking something like:
HIGHS --------------------- 7x 325mm
MEDS --------------------- ?????- I was thinking cap rechargers to keep the rep going
LOWS --------------------- 3x rat specific hardeners 1x EANM 2x LAR II 1x DC
What do you use, and how can I improve it?
Also, what rigs should I be looking into to make it more efficient?

I use this setup:
[Megathron, lvl 4 setup] -LOW- Large Armor Repairer II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
-Med- Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
-High- 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L 425mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L Salvager I
-Rigs- Capacitor Control Circuit I Capacitor Control Circuit I Capacitor Control Circuit I
-Drones- Hammerhead I x5 Hammerhead I x7
It runs missions quite well.
370dps from rails +90dps fromd rones = 460DPS 80% kinetic and thermal resistance Cap Stable with everything running.
You should try to get some Magnetic Field Stabs on your setup, the more you increase your dps the faster you kill, ie the less tank you need :)

I haved used the following setup which has been pretty solid
High: 6 x 425 Rail II (antimatter) 2 x Med NOS (agains the small buggers)
Med: 4 x Cap Recharger II
Low: 1 x Armor Rep II 1 x 1600mm Steel II 1 x Dmg Control II 2 x selected Armor Hardener II (depending on mission) 2 x selected Armor Hardener II (depending on mission)
You'll find yourself changing the armor hardeners a lot. Also, you'll need decent drone skills to kill small buggers well within your rails' falloff. I know the setup is rather weird but it works for me

Edited by: Arana Tellen on 19/01/2008 11:26:41 High 7x 425mm rails II
Mid 4x best named caps
Low 4x mission specific hardner II 2x Mag field stab II (1 of these could be a EANM or DC if tank is lacking for you) 1x Large armor rep II
3 x CCC
Drones 5x Hob IIs 5x Ogre IIs
You need CPU fitting skills to be V for this setup. If you cant use tech II guns you can fit tech II cap rechargers (2x) and a bartons (2x) Also you can fit a cruise missile launcher/heavy launcher. ---------------------------------

Plates in a mission? You are better off finishing the mission 21% faster by using a mag field stab. Also use drones to kill the smaller ships. Nos makes no difference. ---------------------------------

Generally i fit something along the lines of:
Highs: 7 x 425mm rails with AM and Lead ammo 1 x Heavy Missile launcher with rat specific Heavy Missiles.
Mids: 1 x best named AFB 2 x Cap Rechargers II 1 x Best named Target Painter
Lows: 1 x Best named LAR 1 x DCU 4 x Energised plating (rat specific resists) 1 x Mag Stab
Rigs: 3 x CCC
Drones: 4 x Heavies 5 x Lights
Good enough for most of the easier Lvl4's, if I know the damage is going to be tough i drop the Mag Stab and fit a Med Repper. Recently i've started flying with a alt in an Exqueror to remote rep me so I drop 1 Cap Recharger II and replace it with a Tracking Computer, drop the LAR to a Medium repper, and fit 3 mag Stabs. It obviously ganks quicker but you have to be carefull on warp in and around drawing aggro as you don't have much of a tank and can be into structure before i can get my other char into the pocket without them getting any aggro.
I'm at 16 mil SP's with all relevent Engineering and Mechanic skills at Lvl5.

let someone else tank
7x 425IIs (cn antimatter) 1x domi web, 2x cap rechargers, 1x tracking comp 1x dcII, 1x something, 2x tracking enhancer, 3x mfsII
605 dps at 47km (oh lets not forget that 30km fall off)
it gets a bit sicker when you add sentry drones and 2x sentry drone damage rigs (although you have to get some faction stuff due to cpu)

Edited by: Nuclear Warrior on 19/01/2008 12:49:49 Okay, I have put together the following
7x 325mm 'scout'
MEDS ---------------- 4x Cap recharger II
LOWS ---------------- 1x LAR II 3x rat specific hardeners 1x magstab 1x EANM Then either a second LAR or a magstab. I was thinking my rigs as 2x CCC and a Aux nano pump as I should be stable with the guns and the repper and the hardeners going with just 2 and the rep amount never hurt.
Thanks guys!
Oh and how do you fit 7x 425's on a mega? I have 5 engineering to play with and fitting all those 425's leaves me with 2000 PG To play with lol.

I have a 1% power output implant lol, I should probably look at the 3% one.
