Since ORe is becoming so rare in high sec, mainly becouse of macro miners...empire NPC corps should consider it as a catastrophic event and set daily ration per player?? so newbies who don't feel to venture in low sec can still mine (and basically have more chances to find the ore) and macro miners would have to move to .4 system or lower where the ration portion is higher and free for all in 0.0 system...so you won't be able to mine afk anymore. and we finally can kill them when we see them around....Sorry maybe sounds kind of a drastic solution, but as many others are, i'm tired and hate to see macro miners destroy the game i love so much, and not having a chance to do my part to avoid it.
p.s. maybe could give also some ideas for missions (time bonus reward 200 units of extra ore to mine within 24hours) at least who is active and also does missions gets rewarded...just an idea.

You know things are bad when CCP's Devs are calling the current player attitudes a "Macro miner Witchhunt".
Come up with something that doesn't interfere with normal players and we will talk....

So Basically you are saying macrominers don't interfere with normal players? strip mining all available belts (frcing a newbie to move to low sec when he isnt ready or just leave the game) drastically influencing the market adding a huge amount of ore/mins, my idea would allow "normal players" as you say to actualy find some roids in the belts actualy be able to mine theyre part and sell it and make some isks without having to go in a dangerous low sec system and not be ready yet for it.

I don't know about .8-1.0, but I've never seen any of the .5 systems mined out (though some get reduced to scraps), infact I know of one system within 5 jumps of JITA that still has DENSE veldspar left at server down (highsec). Maybe you just need to look harder... . |

No, I am saying that all these "solutions" to fix macro miners nerf legitimate players and HURT CCP by driving off players.
Fix macros, not hurt game-play of normal players (of which a LOT are in NPC corps).

You can't find belts that aren't totally mined out in highsec? Then I suggest you try harder next time.
Ever seen a decent size corp op with a half dozen or more barges tear into a belt? That can turn a full belt into an empty wasteland in 2 hours or less, and everyone needs minerals and materials.
I dislike macros, but I dislike half-baked 'solutions' more. -------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft. Never such a thing as a "last chance". ;) -Rauth |

How about you find a way to make people stop buying ISK? If it weren't for the fact that more than half of the paying player population wasn't a bunch of lazy twits, we wouldn't have this problem in the first place!
