Well seeing the price for navythrons dropping like a stone i'm not about to spend my hard earned LP on one and still having to pay through the nose, so i was wondering, what would be good items to blow my lp on? i got more then enough to claim the navythron btw.
Any suggestions? CCP, let us pay the online shop with Direct Debit!!! Magners is now recruiting, evemail me or Dagazbo ingame.

save it, maybe in half a year CCP will release a magical new navy version of the some ship, and you'll be the first to have it.

The gallente lp store doesn't offer much that is really worth it atm sadly... AFAIK the gallente navy magstabs and maybe the connection books you can sell for around 1000isk/lp

WTB Dominix Navy Issue.
Will trade Scorpion Navy Issue (or CCP could be real nice and make a Rokh Navy Issue). It's not much better over here though, farmer-ravens = lots of LP on the market, cheap CNRs and such. There are of course, still a few good things in our shops.
Is it any better with Amarr or Minmatar LP items? -------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft. Never such a thing as a "last chance". ;) -Rauth |

Not a lot better as far as I'm aware. Well minmatar have their domination equivalent items and Amarr have those equivalent to dark blood but most of those are pretty underpriced on open market. Caldary LP has been dropping also in value, mostly on items that are easy to get (ie. not needing tags). Items needing tags are slightly better, but thats only slightly so it's good question if you would get better isk from bounties bashing thru next mission or traveling to jita for tags to accept some offer giving you only slight advantage over 'regular' items.
Overall I quess I would sit on my LP for now or use it to get items for personal use (ie. ammo, gadgets you could use on your missionrunning boat, perhaps few hardwires for yourself or your alts).
If change of location is viable then it might also stand to reason to drop your current 'lower end high sec' good quality agent for cluster of combat agents in close vicinity (preferably in same system) and hunt for missions that give you either good loot or good bounties instead of chaining them on one 'good' agent for LP.

Lol it seems many people think this way. I know some missionrunners who were telling exactly the same, they don't cash in any lps anymore since lp value is down so much (check ammo price history and cnr price history to see what direction lp value goes) and keep piling up millions of lps in the hope, that ccp somehow "fixes" the lp price with new items or something. But my guess is they will go down even more, bad luck for the stockpilers, they'll lose even more.

IMHO the LP store wasn't the best idea to put in. Personally I'd prefer to go back to the old chance based system. That way you'd really have to earn the faction bits.
On a sidenote... for many items you need a lot of tags. So far the only mission I can get my hands on tags is Enemies Abound, and maybe 1 or 2 others. What other ways are there to aquire tags???

And even if someone knew a magical item in some LP shop that still offers a decent isk/LP, he would be pretty stupid to post it on these forums...

That would depend on whether they wanted to cash in their own LP's, or to buy the item cheap.
I think some of the hardwirings are still prety good value.

I blew some LP on Gal Navy 425s and mag stabs, though that was for my mission ship... even with the tags the resale is around 1000 isk / LP, slightly more on the stabs, less on the rails. As someone else pointed out above hardwirings can be a good choice.
Cheers, Arrs

LP are getting so cheap now, I'd say your 'easiest' bet would be to simply buy ammo so you can power through missions faster.
The only halfway decent offers left are the ones that require lots of tags. Anything else has been flooded by farmer LP (look at CNR prices)

You guys would still mission run if 1lp was worth 1 isk so what does it matter, use the items for personal use.
The reason prices are dropping is to much competition, try selling your items in remote parts of space where the market is not flooded.
BTW i have no clue about missions or lp stores, just a comment from a wh*re.

Buy them. People like me who are more interested in instant gratification will sell them rather than stash them to play LP/Contract games with faction items later.

Yes, we would, wouldn't we? Especially if that item sold on contracts for around 2500 isk/LP, took less than 15,000 LP to buy, and didn't require any tags. It would be crazy to tell anyone what that/those item(s) is/are.

Yes, we would, wouldn't we? Especially if that item has dozens of active Want To Buy orders on contracts every day for around 2000-2500 isk/LP, took less than 15,000 LP to buy, and didn't require any tags. It would be crazy to tell anyone what that/those item(s) is/are.
I know something that you don't know and i'm not allowed to tell you what ... but believe me i know it.
I checked 2 different Gallente shops (the most common and another one) but couldn't find the item you are speaking of. Maybe "your" item fills an absolute niche? Only available in a small and uncommon Corp's lp shop not representing the mass of missionrunners choices?
Buying tags will not solve the problem ... there are simply far far to less faction tags for all the existing loyalty points.
Before the npc buyorder for nexus chips was removed the mass of missionrunners could cash their loyalty points in for about 1 lp : 1000 isk. Easy going and fast but not very lucrative (even at this time not every lp shop offered these nexus chips). People that were willing to put in some effort and work could reach a far better result. This balance (in my eyes) is totally destroyed.

It could be worse. You could be running missions for Ammatar Navy like I am which doesn't even have any good faction stuff to spend LPs on.

Unless he wanted the item, didn't want to run the missions with the corp needed to get it, and wants to increase supply and competition, lowering the price, making it affordable for him....
In which case, Sisters of Eve offers the Sisters Scan Probe Launcher or Sisters Recon Probe Launcher. The scan probe launcher I looked at specifically, costs about 10 MIL ISK, 14,000 LP with SOE, and 1 Scan Probe Launcher and sells for abut 65 Mil on Contract.
Sisters of Eve also offers Low Grade Virtue Implants. They are only +2 to the particular attribute, but they give great increases to scan strength. I would love a set. Last I checked, a full set sells for a few Bil, which was good very good value for the LP.
Other explorer items, like hardwiring - poteque pharmaceuticals 'prospector' pph-2 from Poteque Pharmaceuticals also sell well... er... are good value for LP.
I don't mind giving away my secrets, as I don't do enough SOE missions any more to sell them.

Problem with sisters of EVE is that they don't have any 'classical' lev 4 combat agents (ie. internal sec, security or intelligence), and hauling missions have in general relatively crap isk/h even if you manage to squeeze kill mission out of em every once in a while.

In that case try Lozdod Pousel. Safely located in hi-sec. Only 6 jumps from Jita. Decent mix of kill/courier missions. Reasonable quality.
I wouldn't mind some cheap exploration stuff either.

nah carniflex is right. That's a L4, Q0 agent. It also occasionally gives courier missions into lowsec. There is a better agent, but its a 33% kill agent in 0.9 space.
I'm up to 500k LP for sisters now, but with hindsight about the earning rates, I'm going to stop after I finish 1 set.
1 - Courier missions, when trying to work for the 1 agent, earn really poor ISK/hr 2 - agents are badly located for good LP/hr 3 - the top agent continually gives out 'in the midst of deadspace' and 'pot/kettle' which (depending on your outlook), hurt your ISK/hr if you don't loot, or your LP/hr if you do go and loot the tags, since the tags carry the bounty value in these missions... 4 - the stack of LP needed to make the set is even larger (like 750k) compared to 600k for finishing off a raven.
The sister implant sets, will probably always be well above usual LP->ISK conversion rates, because you earn both less ISK/hr AND less LP/hr farming them.

But one thing that nobody has said is that the sister's implant set just isn't worth it, both in terms of the cost (ISK and lower attribute stats) and the benefits (the increased scan strength isn't actually that useful in the long run) |

There, fixed it.
There are plenty of explorers who would like those implants and find them useful if the supply was up and the price was down a bit.
