I know (atleast i think with some certainty) that capitals were "barred" from entering deep space plexes by means of jump gates would not throw them into the plex. I'm wondering if this is still the case with scanned out deadspace plexes. Reason being I've been putting off capital training for well over a year simply out of not having a use for them. Sure, they are a uber personal limo, but if they can jump into plex's aswell it will make them actually useful to me.

If you just want 'em for missions, don't bother.
They're really only a PvP ship, and a POS seiger.
I'd still train the skills if you've got nothing better to train in case you ever decide to PvP. --------------------------- ---------------------------

Secondly, I'd say I have PvP'd as mucha s you ever have so umm, yea, take the condescending tone elsewhere if you cbf answering the question. **** Where's the problem? Charming,
I'm not entirely sure were the "condescending tone" came from, but ok...
It's obvious that caps cant enter deadspace, so instead of answering an obvious question, I decided to validate your opinion that caps weren't much use to you.
Would someone like to point out were and how I went wrong there?

Appreciated Marie for the answer....
For Synical...
"I'd still train the skills if you've got nothing better to train in case you ever decide to PvP." Is about where I got the condescending tone from. Secondly, you proved you don't really know what your talking about, because as has been pointed out above, and had someone in game tell me, it's only accel gates they cannot do, straight single room deadspace they can.
Atleast I got the answer in the end. **** Where's the problem? It's called natural selection - The bottom of the ****ing food chain. -Denis Leary |

This is slightly incorrect, they are extremley good for doing unknown complex's if the complex escalates before the first 2 stage plex which you would do with a BS or commandship + logistics etc
If you get the esclation then carriers are perfect for this type because you only need to warp the carrier to a bookmark and just tank everything in site and use your drones to kill all the rats.
This method can be done again and again if you have multiple esclations.

The IRON dude is 100% correct.
unknown sites often got 2-4 'rooms' where you probe it down. And you can't use no carrier there. But, if you get an escalation, the place you have to visit mostly have no gates. ie, cyyyyyno!
Beware tho.. There are reports of carriers getting wtfbbq'ed in some of those sites. Not only by players.
