I know that if you get below -2.0 standings with any faction you can no longer run missions for their member corps. However, is there at point in negative faction standings where you can no longer dock at stations owned by one of their member corps? Or have the sentry guns around said stations fire on you?
I operate out of Curse on occasion and my Serpentis and Angel Cartel standings are both in the -1 range, although my corp standings with Serpentis and Dominations are higher. Basically I want to know if I would ever be able to not use their stations if my faction standings dropped too low.
Thanks, and fly safe. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

Nope. You can always dock at any NPC station.

Player corp standings towards NPC corps has absolutely no effect whatsoever in agent accessibility. It is only YOUR personal standings towards the faction/corp/agent you wish to access (all three need to be above -2.0 EFFECTIVE, and one of them, any of them, needs to be above a certain level).

Edited by: Bronson Hughes on 30/01/2008 16:17:39 Excellent, good to know. Thanks Akita.
EDIT:
Originally by: Bronson Hughes although my corp standings with Serpentis and Dominations are higher.
I was trying to say my standings with those corps, not my corp's standings with those corps. Clarity FTW. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

On a related note (not wishing to derail yoru thread) is there anyway to get your faction standing back up? Say you reach the point where they will no longer accept requests for missions from you, can you recover it another way?

Edited by: Akita T on 30/01/2008 16:24:48 Well, yeah, that was already covered in the "can always dock" section Just wanted to make it clear for you what your options are if you do decide to start working for the pirate agents in the future though (a.k.a. what the "point of no return" is).

For EMPIRE factions, yes, always. Just use SSoE/Ammatar/Khanid agents. Those never get "forbidden".
With pirate factions, it's a bit more delicate. For instance, if you screw up each of your Guristas/Blood/Sansha standing below -5.0 base (-2.0 effective with diplo 5), there's no turning back, ever, unless CCP change something in the system.

You forget about Criminal Connections?
According to my calculations, diplo 5 + criminal connections 5 = -2 standing from -10 base standing.
