I currently can fly an Eos and I'm after more info on maximizing out my PVP gang leadership skills.
For starters I'm after info on gang booster roles compared to squad/wing/fleet command. How does the trickle down work exactly? What maximum number of pilots will my current skills below trickle down to if I'm FC? I'm assuming 2 wings with 5 squads x 10 pilots each = 100 pilots maximum.....Is this correct?
Here's what skills I got so far:
Cybernetics 4 Command Ships 3 Leadership 5 Warfare Link specialist 4 Wing Command 2 Skirmish Warfare 4 Seige Warfare 2 Information Warfare 2 Armored Warfare 2
I realize it will take some time to get what I see as essential for maxing 1 area (most likely to be speed first):
Command ships 5, Cybernetics 5, Warfare link specialist 5, (Skirmish) Warfare 5 and Advanced (Skirmish) Warfare skill to 5. Am I missing any skills here for it to be maxed?
I'm also after a breakdown of the percentage bonii if possible for command ships 4 and 5, with and without the mind link implants, and advice on the quickest training path for the quickest raises in bonii.
For example I'm 99% sure training command ships 5 BEFORE I've got any advanced warfare skills is NOT as effective in terms of bonii to my fleet for my time spent as training the actual advanced warfare skills. Am I correct?
All help welcome - Thanks in advance.

Downwards "trickle" is for all SQUAD members under you (directly or 2 levels down, if squad/wing leaders have high enough leadership/wing command levels) in the same system with you. Bug that became feature, the squad/wing commanders under you DO NOT get the bonuses you "give out" (you do, the other commanders don't). Might have been fixed when the "booster" position was implemented, but to be 100% honest, haven't bothered testing.
Training priority should be for a specific mindlink first (cyber 5, spec 5), then warfare link spec 5, then and only then possibly command ships 5 (if you fly the "proper" ship for your mindlink), or another spec at 5 (if you plan to also fit non-mindlinked bonused links on your FLEET command ship).

As I understand it you can only command two Squads with Wing Command on Lvl. 2.
This totals in 2*10 (two Squads including Squad Commander) + 1 (you) = 21 fleet members max. To be able to command 100 people you would need Fleet Command at Lvl. 2 I think. - Success=Achievements/Expectations

You'd also need 2 wing commanders with Wing Command 5 and 10 squad leaders with Leadership 5.

Thanks for all your responses.
Looks like this will take some time to train then hehe.
I'm still confused about the gang booster role though. Does it matter about the squad leader/wing commander skills if a booster is set to someone within a squad?
I assume this is really meant to be used for small gangs where there aren't enough squad leaders/wing commanders with skills for the FC bonuses to trickle down?

AFAIK, the "commanders" only need leadership, wing command and fleet command skills (according to position), while the "booster" only needs the warfare skills. Previously, the "commander" had to have both sets of skills, since he was automatically the "booster".

Quite another question but if somenone has many leadership skills (like armored warfare II, skirmish warfare II, etc...) do all the bonus apply if your are assigned as gang booster or just one? If so how does it get choosen?
Thanks in advance

All of them, unless another booster in the chain has one of skills at a higher level.
