After listening to the entire album while destroying Gallente Ships in a classified Caldari region, Lucin flips on his com link:
After reading the reports of a Ni-Kunni traitor of Amarr ramble on about this most lovely of women sing about nothing but love, I have to ponder why such hatred toward said entertainer even be talked about.
My personal view on this topic, is that this woman is doing what every other entertainer strives to do, and that is to spread their art to others. I for one, am not a tight assed-everyday Caldari citizen. I like to listen to this woman sing about what she sings, and it's been too long since she's sang anything as lovely as this new album.
I think bathing in blood is a personal preference to those that partake in that sort of thing. As for me, I prefer water to bathe in, but to each their own I suppose.
After a little more thought:
If you do have a problem with said album, then don't buy any of it. You don't have to be a lemmeing and buy whatever is on the market. If this.. Ni-Kunni didn't want his daughter to listen to what she was listening to, then make her stop listening to it, and monitor what is really is she's listening to. That way, you won't be so offended, and really, why even speak out about music. It sounds nice.
Deliberately plays the album, highlighting the controversial lyrics, until Lucin has assured his point was made.

The thing about bathing in blood is that the blood usually has to come from someone. and more often than not, you'll find, that person would have preferred to use that blood to keep them alive.
It's not about the lyrics, it's about the possibility that this woman may be using these lyrics to convert teenagers into the blood raider cult. That is not a matter of personal preference, that is a matter of dire need.
I frankly don't give a damn about the words, it's what they might reveal in the one who sings them that I'm concerned with. A celebrity of this nature would have plenty of opportunities to reach the youth of the federation in a private setting and tell them all about the "truth" of what she sings. ----- CCP has determined that some alliances were gaining an unfair advantage through the ability of their players to log in. They responded by nerfing boot.ini |

First of all, I am surprised to listen to that and find out people call it music. But I guess that isn't the point to be discussed.
The reason such a father speaks out is pretty clear, Mr Vale, and it is called "responsability". He could have tried to stop his daughter from listening to the album at home, maybe even in her portable comunications unit... but will that keep her away from it? And what about the sons and daughters of the rest? If he hadn't said anything, no one would have shown that such a line exists in the lyrics that tries to show that love is bound to killing.
Yes, sure, I can understand your desire of freedom of speach and all those ideas... but it has to be executed with responsability. And clearly she hasn't done so.
I have been fighting in space with Blood Raiders for years, and I can tell you, they are no joke or boogieman. They are real. And some of them are much worse than what you may imagine in your wildest nightmares.

A popular singer sings about blood and all of a sudden every crazy in the cluster has come out of the woodwork spouting conspiracy theories.
Midna has no connection with the Blood Raiders, as she stated in her interview, and I quote: "I absolutely do not agree with the violent, sadistic teachings of the Blood Raiders."
"Lifeblood" is music, plain and simple.

I note she did not repudiate any claims that she had Sani Sabik leanings, however. I thought her wording was quite cleverly selective, in fact. Either that or the poor girl truly is "innocent" and didn't know well enough to distinguish the two.
I hope that she is the Sani Sabik influenced artist I want her to be. Listening to her divine voice, (and yes it is divine Mr Sepherim, you must be going deaf old man) I certainly get that impression. It would do the philosophy (or belief, as some see it) well to be seen in some fashions distinct from the Covenant and its rather gruesome ways. I hope her distancing herself from them is not some mere ruse. Though this reference to "O.S" has me suspecting that it perhaps is.
No offense intended, my dear Mr Abai. We can add her to the list of topics to discuss sometime soon and I can elaborate more freely then, perhaps.

I would have to say that "Lifeblood" is excellent album to listen to when your bathing in blood.

Alright alright! Gah, I'd have to lie through my teeth if I said this album was better than anything I could do, but it is pretty good. I'm not commenting on sources at this point.
She also has a sweeter voice than me and that seems to work with the Gallente masses.
