Hardin Amarr Imperial Shipment	Posted - 2008.02.07 23:59:00 - [1] I was going through all my old hangers recently and came across a batch of 4 'Mining Drones - Improved'. After doing some research I discovered that this was a non-market item and no one I spoke to in alliance have seen any of these for a long long time... Anyway I have decided to sell these apparently uber-rare/unique items. They will probably be of interest to any collector of EVE memorabilia. They are on 7 day Auction in Amarr with a starting price of 250 million. Hardin Amarr Imperial Shipment	Posted - 2008.02.08 14:13:00 - [5] I may be wrong as it was such a long time ago but may have picked these up from a wreck of an 'actor' at one of the early RP events (circa 2003/2004). I have one other relatively unique item - a Pax Amarria signed by the original (2003) Amarr Emperor Heideran. I think about 9 were given to PIE Corp as thanks for assistance with another RP event back in the day. I know I gave one to Rodj Blake and I believe Golant Trevize has one. However there is no way I will sell my signed Pax to anyone ------------------------------

Well as I am a nub at this auction stuff I put them all on together and I don't want to pull them now in case I get accused of false dealing. As some of my alliance members have astutely pointed out I should have separated the four and sold them separately and made a hell of a lot more ISK. But it is too late for that now For those who have put bids on here I suggest that you get to Amarr and put the bids on the contract there (as detailed in the screenie in my original post) as that is how they are being sold... When I checked last night there were no bids so far but am assuming that a lot of people are leaving it to the last minute to avoid a bidding war! Here are the three mining drones that we've all come to know and love, along with their mining amount and speed: Civilian Mining Drone (10 m3, 300 m/s) Mining Drone I (15 m3, 400 m/s) Mining Drone II (25 m3, 500 m/s) And then there are the convoy oddities: Harvester Mining Drone (30 m3, 250 m/s) (note: 10 m3 volume per drone) Mining Drone - Improved (30 m3, 500 m/s) Mining Drone - Improved UNUSED (20 m3, 300 m/s) I say "convoy oddities" because the source of these drones was NPC convoys, the big, thick grey "+"'s you occasionally see running between stations in high-sec. A while back, someone figured out how to kill these in such a way that neither CONCORD nor the station's sentry guns responded. Each kill would net a nice cache of trade goods (protein delicacies, enriched uranium, &c), and, often, a selection of the mining drones listed above. The Improved variants would drop in very small quantities, but due to the Harvesters lacking a base isk value in the database, they would drop by the HUNDREDS. As such, for some time, it was not uncommon to see Harvesters in use on mining Vexors. Of course, CCP cut off the mining drone faucet some time ago, and prices have risen to their current levels. And then there's one other: Mining Drone - Elite (30 m3, 300 m/s) As far as I know, Mining Drone - Elite has never been available in any way; the only way, in fact, that its existence in the DB is known, short of combing the DB by hand, is that its blueprint has been strangely listed on the "search" tab of the market for as long as I can remember. Go figure. So there's a little background on your beauties, Hardin. Just wanted you all to know that the drones eventually sold for 400 million isk (100 million isk) per drone... and I have no doubt that the purchaser will probably make more than that in the future if he ever sells them off as individual lots.
