I support this patch. This has been the most annoying and aggravating bug to date for me. The rest are just game mechanics I can live with. Thank you CCP. ~ * ~

Well, I just found out that the bug I reported about Locked targets jumping to different locations when the number of locked targets change is supposed to be fixed in 1.0.1, but that, too, is still there, so I am a little unsure whether I should resubmit the petition, or what ?

Those of us who persist in using the "merge ships/items into station services" option salute you for apparently not making a token effort in two months to fix something that breaks our game client repeatedly every single time we play.
It's so very visible that it astounded me it wasn't fixed the very next day, unlike the thousands of other easily fixed bugs that we let slide because they are seldom encountered or have easy workarounds.

Whooo, finaly. It has annoyed me a while now. Everytime I got a Disconnect I had to restart again because I couldn't enter my darn Password when the Client rebooted!

This bug is already fixed on Singularity, but it seems like we have to wait longer for this to be fixed on TQ.

and one fix... *suspicious*
Whether or not CCP conform to the same standard as other developers, but most have in-house builds of the software and every single version is thusly given a build number.
It has nothing to do with what is released to the public, i.e. 1.02 would be the effective build number.
I was gearing up to read like 14 pages of patch notes thinkin' it was 1.1, silly me.

i call hax
any one noticed the recent spate of *nix hacks appearing? might be somit to do with that. and then there was the phishing scam a few months ago. and CCP's stance of never talking about a *vunrbilaty)*(godam fx spell checker) till its fixed. then again it may be uber nerfing times ahead. orrrrrr a new balance in prep for war... or the jove
bottom line, stop complaining, its only a game. go to the pub and get sexed ppl, thats way more fun x]

it's not a bug, it's a feature. You can lock the position of the targets by right-clicking on the target cross at the corner of the target bar.
But finally, this is the ultimate nerf from CCP. They nerfed the patch notes!!!!!!!!!!
(But hey, it's not like they were even close to complete to begin with. It's saving them time to work and the real changes. Really. Believe it. The changes they don't know how to get rid of affterwards.)

Patch Idea.
Please can you do the following to reduce the SERVER SIDE lag
Remove "Heat" Remove more drones and increase their effectiveness (again) If somone petitions for a system to be given its own node there is probably a good reason for it, surley it cant be that difficult. Create some sort of automatic load reduction ststem e.g. as the number of pilots in a constilation goes up start assigning dedicated / spare servers to each system. If the server load goes beyond a certain point you could dedicate a server or core to each busy gate or pos grid. If there is server lag during fleet battles maybe just pull the plug, move all the ships a few systems and reimburse the losses automatically. In the end its all about granularity, if you can split the systems and grids down accross servers and cores then you will have a lot fewer issues in the future if the player base increases.
Or the easy thing to do :)
If a system has 300 people in it, dont let any more jump or log into the system.
I look forward to fleet battles under my rules lol
BTW how is the Chinese cluster doing ?

I think the community will agree with me in my voicing disgust over CCPs method of releasing monolithic patches at large intervals. Get your act together, and release smaller patches >=(

Its not often you see an extended downtime for what seems to be on the surface, a minor patch. Has to be more to this, a LOT more.
Some of us are a bit more technical than others, are there more details? Not that this is a big interest item, but it is difficult to reconcile. ----------- Lame sig |

I never encounter this curious bug for the moment, so this can be useful to have this patch, but I can't avoid this kind of statement :
Is it all ?
No fix for the annoying local & fleet behaviour ? No fix for the behaviour of the items/ships panel ? No fix for the annoying scrollbar bug ? No fix for the first stucked page of the contract section ?
Two months of a daily frustration by these bugs, this is tiring _______
16/20 Dragon : ½ Great Game + 14/20 Revelations : ½ Desyncs... + 11/20 Trinity : ½ BBSOD, Bugs, Desyncs, F*** Nerfs + 10/20 v1.1 : ½ [...] + EXP shield nerf +
CCP, you are tiring. |
