Originally by: Naridos I have to say congrats guys. But this is not the end of them. All they will do now is farm high sec. What then?
That's exactly what I want.
Let them go to high sec. CCP listens to all the high sec bears. They will start spamming "rabble rabble farmer lag! rabble rabble desync! rabble rabble lost my CNR!" all over the forums. Then maybe CCP will start to do something.
I suspect that the farmers were in low sec areas like ingunn because CCP instructed them to go there to avoid lagging out mission systems like salia/motsu etc any more.
Originally by: Fourty Niner Ok, probably really stupid question, but... what lets you know that its an isk farmer?
Are they all in a corp called "Isk Farmers R us"? Or by some other really obvious means. Or do we just assume that they are farmers.
Or are we just saying , "No one mines my space Yarrr!"?
low sec chinese farmers don't mine belts, there would be no sense in that at all. They do macro hauling and the occasional combat mission.
Originally by: DarknessInc Muffins also helped in this endeavor, not by attacking in Ingunn but by conducting Hauler-palooza Ops 1 jump out of Ingunn to cut off Farmer haulers where they cant redock or use the natural instant undock. We also took down many macro battleships too
:)
Give us our fair share of the glorryy!
I saw you guys do a pretty sweet camp 4 months or so ago. You guys had 15 or so ships and once you were done there might have been close to 200 wrecks on the gate. Nice work, but I am glad that you didn't come back!

Originally by: Neal Cassady hats off to stak, vic, and the rest of the metafarmers. your little project really took off didn't it bud?
Yes it did, metafarmers continues to vastly exceed my expectations. I thought it would take us a couple months to clear orfrold, we did it in little more than 2 weeks. They actually ended up with mostly negative standings to poteque.
I thought we would never clear ingunn. If you have ever seen our KB, lobster man once killed like 700 farmers in a single week!!!! That's just one of us!! For ages, the ingunn farmers really did not want to turn in the towel. I really have to hand it to our guys for being so persistent.

I am not sure that the action taken by Stakhanov or any other players have made any difference on this issue.
uhhh, once they get negative standings to their agents from having to decline too many missions then I think it is clear that it has to do with them being killed by metafarmers and other anti-farmbot forces.
Originally by: Hardin so there is absolutely no reason for Stakhanov or anyone else to come here to shoot macroers anyway.
does someone fear losing a source of income? ;)

Yep , we're oppressing the working masses with our internet spaceships. We are capitalist pigs bent on undermining the People's Republic welfare obviously
Not just capitalist pigs, we are virtual robber barons

It's not sarcasm. He actually thinks that it is wrong to kill macros because it is their job!
lol. If someone is harassing me and ruining the game in general while I am having fun I don't care whether it is their job or not- they can go cheney themselves.
The macros can not end eve prematurely! We must prevail!

It's just a pilot group, I assume that if we keep the pressure on them they will not return to previous numbers.
