Pipex is Tiscali, so you may want to have a think about that last statement, and make sure everything is well there before jumping in.

Oh damn it... thats really not what i wanted to hear :( Friends of mine have had trouble with Tiscali and if the two are the same company then I might have to start looking at BT or Virgin or god forbid, forking out for a sky package and hoping to god it works.

Ive had the same problem, but uninstalled eve and used the steam one, seems to be going fine so far (touches wood )

Well, I complained like hell last night putting it on that I would contact ISPA, BC Watchdog and every bugger else who could place some heavy pressure on the company.. whadda ya know, it worked for several hours.. now its back to its old tricks and I will certainly be ringing tech support again this evening stating how annoied i am that their ineptitude at changing servers is providing me a service worse than what i paid for!

This is the fallout of AOL selling it's access business last October. Details from CNet.
So while you are still tehcnically subscribed to AOL, CPW now controls the connections to the web. |
