CCP, no offense intended, but this is a pretty Mickey Mouse patching attempt and you haven't even started patching yet......
Should these patch notes not have been reviewed, confirmed, and written in stone days before the patch was even considered ready for TQ deployment?
Also, don't you have a private forum that these notes would have been up on for days for internal review? Or did somebody just post the wrong notes and delete the right ones and now you guys have no idea which changes are new as of this patch....?

Quote: Trinity 1.1: Boost patch has been postponed by 24 hours due to extra time needed for testing. We will go ahead with deployment on Wednesday, 12 March from 02:00 to 16:00 GMT. That is, same time, just different day.
Meanwhile we're coming closer to publishing the patch notes and we will make sure all news items, including this one, will be updated when that happens!

Sure. In some parts of the world 'today' is already over.
Originally by: rValdez5987 You guys sure are hard on a company that has brought you one of the most unique mmo's of the decade...
Some of these guys are software developers themselves and are a little frightened about how actions like this might be a reflection on the internal development process of the company that brings us our much loved pastime.
We fear for our game with each patch that goes live.

Hi there,
Tracking Disruptors will now have scripts that reduce falloff, while Tracking Computers will not receive equivalent scripts. Could you justify this decision, as I believe this may be unfair to pilots using Minmatar weapons.

I must say, that this "boost" patch does not really float my bubble. Some key issues, that have been left out:
- Amarr powergrid issues with using Tachyon Beam Lasers
Every race's battleships can use the "heavy" long range weapons, with minimal fitting modules / rigs, except for the Amarr.
- Pilgrim not looked at
Enough said.
- Resist change unnecessary in my opinion
EM damage is, in my eyes, the best damage to do in PVP. With all of my ship setups, EM damage is quite literally, my worst resist. Granted, no ship should have a natural 90% resist to any one damage however.
- The bright star
This should stay in the game in my opinion. Not only does it give good things to roleplay about, it also gives a reference point for people in the same gang, that are not together.
As I understand that not everything can be done in one patch, and I suspect this "boost" patch will come in 2, maybe 3 stages, here is what I would also like to see:
- Powergrid use of the Beam lasers reduced by 20%. This would be in-line with all other battleship long range weaponry.
- Cap recharge / cap amount built into the Amarr battleships, and a more useful bonus applied.
- Increase the capacitor recharge rate of the Pilgrim to 31.0 peak recharge rate. This will allow it to run 3 Energy Neutralizers and 2 Tracking disruptor's without capacitor failure.
- Increase the Pilgrim, Curse, Arazu, and Lachesis EWAR bonuses to 20% per level. This will help "un-nerf" the script nerfs that these ships experienced.
- Still cannot see the stats of drones that you have in the drone bay, with bonuses applied
- "Stuck" faction standings are not fixable, and takes away from the "sandbox" game. So I work for the Amarr Navy, then I want to defect to the Sanshas or Blood Raiders. Well, I can't.
- Low sec agents are not balanced out, and provides a mean to "farm isk and standings" easily.(Multiple high quality agents in the same station that give nothing but courier missions.)
- Level 5 missions still suck.
- Clear Video cache / memory cache still not in the game. This would at least help with the client side lag.
Armageddon: 5% bonus to rate of fire and 5% bonus to tracking speed. Apocalypse: 7.5% to optimal range and 5% bonus to falloff. Abaddon: (No change).

Sigh, still no fix to drone radar sites :(
Everytime its reported, they ask for the name of the sites, but where is that name? Its just silly those containers are always empty and you have to ask other people to re-hack the containers after you.

Go to the solar system map, and hover over the green circle. It will tell you the name of the site.

Was this just some sort of plot device, CCP? Did some system just go supernova out in the galaxy? Does/Will the appearance, then disappearance, of the star have some implication to the EVE world-at-large?
Tell me yes! Or, I will be sad. Well, I'll be sad regardless, but "hopefully depressed"

On of the many fixes: "You may no longer select a resolution lower than 1024 x 768 px"
That means EVE will be unplayable on some subnotebooks? That is a damn bad idea :(

No mention of the Strip Miner sound in premium being returned to the proper sound it was in Pre-Trinity, and is now in classic. I was told it was fixed on the Test Server. Has it not made it into this patch?
