Has anyone had a chance to go on the test server and try the extra turret hardpoint for the Moa/Eagle and Ferox. I tried for a joke a Berox set up, and I ended up beating my friend who was in a Myrm, but I didn't get around to the Moa.
What are peoples views on the extra turret HP, does it really make any difference? _____________________________ "So what do you need, besides a miracle?"

Well, they suck less now. Add to that an already decent tank, and you get a viable ship. Finally.

The extra turret on the Ferox made it suck less, but the problem with it is that it sucks A LOT. A Brutix can do everything a Ferox can do, better (except sit at range and scratch paint. And even at that, the Ferox is only marginally better).
The Moa will benefit from the extra turret. I don't know that it will be any more widely used, since the ruppy and the thorax will still consistently (and considerably) outperform it, but it will be more viable, no question. Just don't expect it to match a 600dps thorax. . . .

600 dps with rails ?
Maybe a deimos could hit that with rails... but not a rax.. surely ?

Don't tell me you've never put blasters on a moa... though about the only thing that can be said about that is that you have slightly higher resists on your shields than a thorax...
Rails may be what caldari are known for, but just because they have rails doesn't mean that they can't also have blasters... they're still hybrid weapons

Oh nice, an extra turret on my Moa? That means an extra 20 dps! Hooray! That'll cut down the time it takes for me to pop pods at 100km by at least 10 seconds.
