Greetings,
ever since Eve-central failed me I wonder, are there other utilities that are viable to for use when it comes to buy and sell orders? Somethin that keeps track on current orders so I know what to haul and where?

Eve marketdata is one option, dunno if it tracks individual orders though. |

Uh, that went with gazillion errors on me. EveHQ, Evemon are not really it, Eve-central is not updated fast enough. Is there anything else? |

I'm looking for one which lets you know when your individual buy orders have been 'out bid' in the designated buy order distance as opposed to being notified when you are not the highest bidder in the whole region or system. I.e. I want to know if I am out bid within 3 jumps of my order. Can't find anything |

I am looking for the like of EVE central.
basically, a real-time information on what I can haul and where, ie:
-What I can load on station 1 and for how much will it sell at station 2, minus tax and fees. -it should work a little bit faster, items worth millions of ISK a bit of no-gamble for starter like me. |

I created EvE Addicts, it's main goal is to provide up to date price info. I don't want it to be too complex with too many features, just up to date prices.
The site needs more uploaders though, the data has to come from somewhere... Creator of EvE Addicts marketdata site. |

Ill give you few uploads from the Essence region on that one.
Think it could contain some sort of planner much like the EVE-Central, or are those values entirely based and dependant on player uploads? |

To have most accurate market data it's also possible to create N alts, position them in major hubs / regions and run market scans per daily/hourly/whatever basis. You can write your own app using one of the Eve Cache libraries , read market data directly from cache and calculate your routes by your own. Using eve-central and similar sites can give you poor results as you cannot be sure about accuracy of data behind those websites ( old data, manipulated data, whatever ). It's quite handy to know how your trade tools works. When you want to be sure about your investments, use only data approved by you. |

All data is from players using the evemarketeer unified uploader.
In reply to Shangra Mu'zgob: If someone uploads manipulated data, and i find out, then i can block uploads from that person. On the other hand, if there are enough uploaders, the manipulated data won't stay in the database for very long, because it is refreshed with the newer uploads. Thank you for clarification and please do not feel offended by my previous statement. This is quite rough game full of different kind of people and bigger part of them is quite mean - so i'm expecting the worst to protect my investments ;-)
Fly safe,

Forums ate my post :(
It was about eve market data and eve marketeer, both of which can be used for research on hauling. I preferred eve market data when I was hauling as it gave me orders for a station and jita, right at your fingertips along with an at a glance margin on the orders. Eve marketeer however has charts! Lots of older history, going back farther than the in-game charts, info and some other neat tools.
I know you said eve marketdata gave you errors. Did you try a different browser at all? Some browsers have trouble with some websites. I used to use FireFox but it didn't like my computer and would act up on me so I switched to chrome, but I'm sure chrome has it's problems too.
EDIT: forgot to say that eve marketeer has a region to region hauling section, how ever it isn't broke down by station so you have to cross reference. It also has funny data and suggestions at times. |

As an alternative to writing your own app, as that's a bit of a pain, you can use the Eve Marketeer unified uploader and write your own end point code (or grab it from my site. it's nasty, but it works. It's also simple enough that anyone can understand it.)
Then all you need is to install something like XAMPP locally, stick the end point code on it, hook it up to the mysql database, and hook up the uploader.
Bang, market data in your very own database, for processing as you want. FuzzWork Enterprises http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/ Blueprint calculator and other 'useful' utilities. |

Atm Eve Addicts is the most up to date market data aggregator.
Having now EMDR (EVE Market Data Relay) which is broadcasting every data from any uploader that is pointed to it, market aggregator sites can benefit from it keeping their data as up to date as can be.
And with the upcoming uploader that will be integrated into EVEMon, data flow will turn from breeze to storm. And further more when EVEHQ gets it's own uploader, no corner of the EVE Universe will be hidden. |

Have your site added to the Eve Marketeer unified uploader as an endpoint.
I will add it to mine. Give me an endpoint to dump data to
