fyi the Black Rise systems are included in the sovereignty API.. so you can at least import the names and solarSystemIDs from there, just create a mapRegions entry and set regionID to it's ID.
Of course you won't have x,y,z or jumps but it should help with asset trackers etc.

I would hope so too! But for an export tool to still work properly after changes to the structure of the database, it would have to be told what data to export (remember not all the data should be exported - thats why it takes so long manually). So if you're going to have to tell the tool what to export, (and possibly alter the format of fields/perform operations on fields) it would require a lot of initial work to create the tool, and possibly put in place other changes to the database, to make it so using the tool took significantly less time than re-writing the export program each time to reflect the changes in the data that needs to be exported. eg Giving the tool with a gui where the user selects what tables/fields to export and in what format.
That made sense in my mind. I hope you were able to follow my thoughts.
My point is not just 'give em a break, its a big job', but also, 'its taking enough time to implement a seriously kick-ass export tool so if it ends up still taking weeks to get updated dumps each time changes are made, i'm going to be.. erm.. disappointed.'
BTW, Prism X and T20, thank you for whatever you are doing. Even if it does take ages, we appreciate it.

I think most are happy to give them time, however Since the last communication on this said next export soon after expansion and nothing been heard since to my knowledge. Well it is now soon after next expansion and not a squeak from a CCP bod on this so everyone stuck checking every couple days/days/hours checking on each the export thread to see how soon, soon is and getting frustrated not knowing!
I think everyone would just be happy just to hear how it is going even if it a, "It all gone pear shape/Prisim X and T20 have eloped and we need to draft new devs/what ever excuse or reason" followed by a time scale for earliest date even if it's a not before next month, Xmas, Xmas 2012 etc.
So we can go away and do what ever changes fudges to Apps or tell users of said Apps no doesn't support new bits until after.
Basicaly a statement of any kind from CCP preferably Sticky nice and large top of forum.
Well I am going try and forget about his forum and hope no one complains about lack of support for post Trinity 1.1 stuff in any the Apps I host, lots of alcohol will involved in said forgetting process.

It doesn't help where there are currently two posts and a sticky about data dumps on the front page alone.

Having just come back from holidays, PrismX and I are now actually physically able to provide you with a Static Data Export ... one last blessing from Hammerhead, to make sure we're not releasing too much (but not too little either) and we'll release it (I'm not going to put a date on it, but we're pretty much done)

For most projects its probably better to try read the .cache data from eve directly instead of relying on data that has been promised for more than half a year now.
