My alt recently joined a corp that I didn't like to well. After being there for only a couple of hours i wanted to leave the corp. When i went to leave the corp i was told I would have to wait 24 hours till i could remove roles. I asked in corp what roles i had, and they told me they had 'holding' roles that would hold me in the corp if i had done anything wrong  .
I think you should have to accept roles after they are granted, so roles cant be used to lock you into a corp early on

This is working as intended.
You can remove all your roles, and then 24 hours later you can leave the corp.
If they reapply your roles in that 24hours this is considered an exploit and you can petition it.
The 24 hours rule is to stop you just leaving the corp.

he answered you. If they give you roels just to hold you in corp. Petition, and your cEO will get a temporary ban.

They fixed this a few patches ago, actually, you can now reject roles if people try to give them to you with a "Yes/No" dialog. |
