Can I get some answers to my questions? BTW thanks in advance
1. Do I have to redownload the game onto my computer which already has the game or do I just copy the folder and do a rename and create a shortcut? 2. The log-in name I want to use is similiar but unique, but EVE will not accept it. I read the rules but the name doesnt apply to that rule about names, IS EVE fussy about that? 3. Transfering characters cost $$, can I just delete my alt on my main account and revive him on my new account? 4. If there is a way to do this easy, someone please explain it too me.......
Thanks

This is normal. Each of your accounts is independant of the others. Originally by: Valishka 1. Do I have to redownload the game onto my computer which already has the game or do I just copy the folder and do a rename and create a shortcut?
Just ignore the instructions to download the client again. Simply start Eve as you normally would. To run both accounts at the same time (requires that both account be paid) just switch to windowed mode and start Eve a second time. Originally by: Valishka 2. All of my logins are very similar, only differing by the placement of punctuation, so that is not likely to be the problem. Most likely that username was already take by someone else. Just choose another. Originally by: Valishka 3. Transfering characters cost $$, can I just delete my alt on my main account and revive him on my new account?
You can delete your alt and immeadiately recreate it on your new account. You will obviously lose any skills/assets that the character had, but I am expecting that you already guessed as much. There is also a 10 hour cool off period between when you initial delete the character and when you can complete the deletion.
I would also recommend using the Wing Man promotion to create the second account as you will effectively get an additional free month of game play split between the two accounts: 14 days extra on each.

It is possible to run two EVE clients in full screen as well. That's what I do.

If you are going to tell someone that it is possible to do something, please let them know what is involved.
It is not possible to run 2 clients fullscreen without using some 3rd party software, so please inform the poor newbie as to what is required?
I personally prefer to always run in windowed mode, so have not pursued the 2 fullscreen client setup, so don't look at me for advice XD -=^=-

You can run 2 clients in full screen mode without any 3rd party software, all you have to do is hit alt-tab to switch between clients.

You can run two clients in fullscreen, both on one screen, perfectly fine and press Alt+Tab to switch between the two.
You cannot run two clients on two screens, one on each, fullscreen without using 3rd party software.

That and the screen redraw takes to long when switching between full-screen clients. Half a second is far too long.
