Our T1 frigate fits for students are very inexpensive so you should be able to afford your losses while you are with us.
We don't teach you how to make isk, so you're going to have to figure out how to afford future shinies on your own. Life On The Bubble |

All training modules are held in high sec so there is little chance of losing a ship during a class. Once you begin moving into null sec to apply the things you have learned, you will initially be restricted to approved student-fit T1 frigates. These ships generally cost only around 400k isk.
We pride ourselves in proving that, with proper training, even very new players flying the cheapest of ships can thrive in null sec, and even engage and kill older pilots flying shiny ships. Nothing pleases us more than taking down a billion-isk ship with only a handful of frigs.
If you've been playing long enough to earn the ~400k isk for your first student-fit frigate, then you have everything you need to successfully complete the OUCH training.

You can buy 50 Rifters and jump into lawless space and learn it the traditional way.
We call that the "Hard Way".
Been there, done that, T-Shirt acquired.
Or you can take our course and get the tools you'll need to survive just to make it to the fight.
We call that the "Easy Way".
When you finish the course, you'll be light years ahead of the guy who lost 50 Rifters.

Did you ever join a nullsec alliance, which was promising daily PVP and lots of fun defending their territory. But all you got was mostly empty space and occasional blob vs blob, where you were just a straw in a haystack, with your cruiser sized ship, dropped in one of the squads somewhere in 100+ sized fleet?
And they told you that's what PVP is. If you feel that that couldn't be further from the truth, join OUCH
We'll show and teach you how to fight in a controllable sized fleets, where single frigate sized ship actually matters (as it always should), where your frigate or a cruiser sized ship will be a great tactical advantage over the opposing fleet. And where we show our behinds to the fleets, where all you need is Big ships and Lots of them and no need for brains at all.
Join OUCH and learn how to tactically defeat the enemy fleet with smaller and cheaper ships, but with knowledge of how to really fly them efficiently.

Why are you still sitting in hisec?
You know you're bored to tears with mining and missioning and all those other dreary forms of PvE. You know you've been considering unsubbing because the excitement just isn't there. You know you've been reading the blogs and itching to find the EVE that all these guys write about.
You know the one... The EVE where adrenaline courses through your veins as you and your fleetmates warp onto grid and engage players just as bloodthirsty as yourselves. The EVE where you burn away from one opponent while spiraling in on the chosen primary. The EVE where you lock down your target and watch his shields melt away under your guns. The EVE where shiny ships explode and leave you shaking with the excitement of victory.
That EVE does exist. And you can be a part of it.
OUCH will teach you to survive in nullsec. OUCH will teach you your role as a critical element of the combat fleet. OUCH will teach you to be the killer you know you want to be. OUCH will help you find the excitement and the EVE you are dreaming of.
Join us.

Even the 14th can be your lucky day as well. If you've been contemplating on what all the fuss is about with nullsec, join OUCH so that you'll spend more time in your ship and less time getting sent back to your med clone.
If you have questions, come join the OUCH-UNI channel and ask away. Otherwise, you can put in an application. |

So you're bored to death sitting in highsec, but whenever you enter nullsec you're "sent back" to high sec using your cloning facility?
And you always wanted to be the pilot, that's somehow able to warp really close to one of those nasty bubble camps that are frequent in null sec. And not in some kind of stealth bomber or covert ops ship, but in a regular Tech1 frigate with basic unnamed modules. You wanted to make the campers nervous, sneaking in behind their backs. You wanna know how to be so close to the sniping naga, that you could hear his lifesupport systems humming, without him knowing that you're there. And you always wanted to slip through the gates and continue your journey with an interdictor quarding them vigorously, waving them goodbye and wishig them better luck next time, while their jaws drop wondering how you could do that?
If you wanna learn how to do any or all of the above, join OUCH. We'll teach you for free. All you have to do is follow few of our rules, and have the desire to learn :) |

To anyone who wants to try the null for himself but don't know where to begin...OUCH is the place to go
Instructors know their stuff so you get first class info. But wait it gets even better.... While hanging around you become comfortable in null just like it was Hsec, you get to know how PvP works, traveling is easy if you do it the OUCH way (you will die eventually) and you have FUN doing it.
So do yourself a favor and join OUCH, its one of those things people can't take away from you

Just wanted to bump this for OUCH! justice. I only joined 3 days ago (and joined EVE only a week ago), but wanted to say how great it is.
2George decided to teach me and 2 others ad hoc, out of the kindness of his heart, when the beginning modules weren't planned at all The day after I managed to do so more training under Dybbuch. My (limited) experience is that they're all great guys that actually know their stuff and are happy to answer questions (of which I have a lot).
At this rate I'll be able to administer the OUCH to my enemies soon enough! |
