Sometimes I get a convo asking me if we are still recruiting. I always laugh at the thought.
OUCH is never recruiting: We advertise a service to teach you tactics that should help you learn to survive in in null sec space.
There's a reason it's called Open University. If you want to learn, all you need to do to join is ask.
Open enrollment. No hidden fees. All we ask is you be patient and follow our corporate policies and regulations while you are with us. Stay for a while, get trained and leave, if staying and training others is not what you want to do.
We don't have drama. We don't want a ton of members to fund our corporate expenses. Honestly, we kick out half of our enrollment for failing to train, or for failing to follow our regulations.
Join us and train. Fail to train, you're gone. We don't encourage our players to waste their time, and we definitely waste our time on people who don't really want the training we give.
There is no catch.
We're the real deal. Life On The Bubble |

The coming month promises to be one of tears, tears, and ever more tears. Hulkageddon, Jita Will Burn, TechniumGate. These are to be exciting times indeed.
High sec is likely to prove little safer than null.
Are you prepared?
Everyone knows OUCH will teach you to survive in nullsec. But many don't realize that the same teachings apply to these "interesting" times in hisec. Do you know how to survive the coming bloodbath.
We'll teach you what you need to know. Join us. |

If someone told you that terrorists are going to be outside of city hall shooting people in white shirts, would you go to city hall wearing a white shirt?
You might not believe it, but I bet you'd at least wear black, just in case the rumors prove true. Me? I'd turn on the news and see what's going on myself.
So when I look at the news and see all of the destroyed ships in Jita, I just have to believe that there's no shortage of idiots.
We all know that Low sec is not safe. We understand that Null sec is not safe.
But people do not understand that High sec is not safe either.
The only thing that can make you safe is to learn to be aware of your environment and avoid the other pilots target lock.
OUCH can put some of those survival tools in your toolbox. Life On The Bubble |

If you are not sufficiently paranoid in New Eden, you WILL lose your shiny new toy -- regardless of whether you haunt high sec, low sec or null sec.
But neither will a healthy dose of paranoia protect you if you haven't the training to avoid those dirty birds seeking your demise.
Now let me share a little secret....
The vast majority of those dirty birds are not properly trained either.
With proper training, you can put the dirty birds on a rotisserie. Join us. Now pass me a drumstick...

Some players believe that as soon as they jump in to 0.0 they will die.
Some players believe that the only way to travel through 0.0 is in a nullifier-fit Tengu.
Some players believe that as soon they get locked by an opponent their shiny is going to go boom.
These players have not been trained by OUCH.

Since jita burned and hulkagedon event happened, tech II ships prices sky rocketed.
After this two events you're probably even more nervous to fly those expensive hulls and modules. And you fly them only because you feel like you'll be powerless if you don't use the best possible module on the best possible ship you can fly. If that's the case, you couldn't be further from the truth. In OUCH students and permanent members (trainers) regularly fly tech I ships, with not the best possible modules, and have a great success with them.
If you're wondering how that is possible, join us. We'll teach you how to fly all ships (even noobships), to the maximum potential, and how to survive in them anywhere. |

Research has shown that eating metal does not power iron eye lasers. However, Minmatar pilots have been known to consume vast quantities of toxic metals in order to sh*t projectile ammo for their autocannons. (Not recommended if flying anything larger than a frigate!)
But if it's lasers you want, I suggest a cocktail of Quafe Zero and Frentix with a healthy splash of Johnny Walker Blue. That should power up your Amarr eyes. Be sure to keep your shades on around friends!
Now that you know all about manufacturing your own ammo. Join us to learn nullsec survival.

Are you curious, what is that nullsec stuff everybody is talking about, but are too afraid to enter. Or you already entered it, only to die to a gate camp few jumps later, never to return. Or maybe you want to be part of that gatecamp and learn how pvp actually works.
If any of the above is true, join OUCH we'll show you the path :) |

One of the issues living in null is prices on a lot of popular things can be very expensive, but there are bargains to be found on items out here. Fire sales happen, especially when people pick up and move to the next region.
But unlike Empire, chances are high that the seller of your brand new cruiser is sitting outside the station, waiting for you to undock so he can test the hull of your ship.
But don't worry, you don't have to go without, you just have to be prepared when you make your pick ups. Life On The Bubble |

OUCH train players and show them that flying a cheap t1 frig is just as lethal (even more) as a max skilled fella flying a t2-t3 ship packing some serius "bling" in its slots can be, and they show you the importance of teamplay but also train you to be on your own in a hostile enviroment.
good lessons to be learnt and fun times so join OUCH

As a new player I can attest that the OUCH training really pushes you up the learning curve.
I joined OUCH in my very first month of playing EVE. The money I got through the new player experience has been enough for my time in OUCH as the frigates are cheap to replace if lost at all. The training helped immensely to get a grip at a lot of things EVE throws at you as a beginning player. Now three months later I have a clean UI, can use overview and bracket settings to my advantage, have flown in fleets and been on both sides of a bubble.
Most importantly I lived in Null Sec. for a time, travelled through Null as well as back and forth to high. Even as a new pilot I know I can live there and that gives my invaluable options of where to go now and what to try.
The actually hardest part as a new player is that you can not try every aspect of EVE for a little time (e.g. entering wormholes), but what you learn makes more than up to that.
So if you are a new, or not so new, player try OUCH. It helps to stand on the shoulder of giants.

So you still don't dare to enter nullsec, because you're waiting to have a bit more skills, so you can fly a better ship.
Surviving in nullsec is not about better ships, it's not even about bigger fleets. An opponent will rather sonner than later bring a bigger fleet and better ships and beat you. Surviving in nullsec is using the environment and ship that you're curently in (even if it's just a rookie shipe), to the max potential.
And that is what we'll teach you in OUCH.
With us you'll learn how to travel through nullsec "safely", how to avoid engagements that you don't want, and how to engage other ships, and all that by learning true potential of modules and the ships everyone can use.
Don't wait for "tomorow", learn more about this game by joining us now, and have more fun :) |

This corporation looks very interesting ;) What stops me for joining for the moment though are:
- the time of the training sessions. I live in France and I can play usually about 19:30/20:00 GMT till 23:00 GMT about, so your training sessions are a bit early for me, with a wife and two children
- I'm afraid it will be difficult for me to understand technical spoken english, written english is ok, spoken is harder ;) |

They will teach you about survivability, fleet tactics, picking the right targets, basic fleet communications and general awareness.
