With all of the talk about the congestion in empire and the lack of pilots in low sec and 0.0, combined with the emergence of the suicide ganking by Goonswarm, and the lack of response by Concord against the Goonswarm alliance. It makes me wonder if CCP is actually behind the Goonswarm attacks trying to get pilots to realize that if they are gonna get blown up it might as well have a better risk to it and venture to low sec.
What do you think coincidence or conspiracy?

You're still a helluva lot safer in hi sec as well as being substantially more profitable to stay in hi sec.
What Goons are doing is barely a blip in the scheme of things. 40,000 people online and Goons maybe average 10 suicides per night (give or take)? Not a scratch really.

I seem to see your point, but, for something that is not a scratch really, every other forum thread seems to be on the Goonswarm Jihadists and their tacticts. That is why I wonder if there is much more to this than a bunch of pilots trying to see how quick they can miners before concord arrives.

No. They barely have time to fix the UI, much less set the spark to a grand manipulative strategy that will change EVE as we know it that only has a minor chance of working.
We leave those things to the unemployed.

The reason there are so many threads about this is that people post on the forums when they're unhappy about something much more than they post if they're happy. If Goonswarm ganks a thousand miners and half of them come to the forums, it seems like a lot of people. But that's still less than 1% of the playerbase.

A lot of it is probably Goonswarm alts. This is an alliance that harbors a very large number of troll-loving forum *****s who crave attention above anything else that we're talking about here.

Actually an inside investigation once showed that goon swarm are actually npc rats, thats how they can kill miners without losing standings.
But on a more serious note.. I think 99% of these topics about goonswarm were made by a goonswarm alt. They just trying to spread the word, its like a popularity contest to them. And you ask why? Well its really simple... they care about what we think about them.
