Wow...so they're begging ISK off of other people to sell. That's just sad.

Its not that there begging its the fact if they were to sell the donated ISK... The people who donated out of kindness would get ****** by CCP for supplying ISK/selling ISK?

How do these isk farmers do it anyway? I've heard of mission farming but am not sure how it works or if it is even related to making isk.

Its done through straight-up brute force. They find something that makes alright money compared to time and then they do it over and over and over and over and over again. Its basically like an EVE sweatshop.
Some use third party programs they either create themselves or have others make for them. Those are the "macro miners" and the program just runs the computer for them.

Take 3 people and 1 computer, make em run missions for 8 hours straight, after 8 hours person 1 goes to rest, person 2 takes over, 8 hours later swith to person 3, pay them 2 dollars, sell the isk. Your very own isk farming sweatshop -----

Edited by: Shintai on 03/04/2008 19:37:08 There is no chinese sweatshops or the like. It would also quickly become bad business when you need to pay your employee some 500-1000$ a month. If lucky you can maybe get someone to work for about 200-250$ a month.
For those that dont understand yet, go watch them and learn. Its 100% MACRO/AI BOTS!
Its no different than the ice ming bot network with a battleship for laser optimization, 5-6 miners and an industrial. Or down to the single accounts mining ice and ore for 0.0 players and others 23/7.
The ISK sellers are based all over the world. It is usually easy and good money for no work. I think an analyze would actually show most ISK sellers are american based. Just like gold sellers in WoW. Abstraction and Transcendence: Nature, Shintai, and Geometry |

Shame on you CCP. Running a sweatshop of isk sellers. I mean don't you have any sympathy for the poor people mining 23/7 to make $3 a day in a job overseas? You need to get your sheet together and stop this asap. shame.

Ahh...the sweat smell of freshly cut propaganda in the morning. Deny all sweat shops in China, check. Blame it all on the Americans, check. Mention WoW, check. Gotta love it. I know it may comes as a complete surprise, but most American's aren't complete pushovers that believe everything random posters tell them. Enough of the finger pointing.
It's wage arbitrage, pure and simple. Real money flows down the gradient, game money flows up. It doesn't even have to be a cross-border trade if a sufficiently pronounced disparity in wealth and cost of living exists within a country - and there are big big names where it does. I could name a few, but I am not going to go there.

But it must be said that the "majority" known to this have been named "x" country but i think its just be derived as being the norm to call someone a "X" isk farmer.
Suxs to be "x" in this game unless you can find a !X! corp to play with....
