Couldn't find any other threads on this, since the last patch a few friends and I have found that on occasion after minimizing EVE, it doesn't restore properly - I still see the desktop but can't interact with it unless I Ctrl+Q on EVE.
As you can imagine this is very annoying during fleet ops when you have to change TS channels, post mails or just when your doing something afk.
Anyone else had this issue?

no - but I'd run in windowed mode not full screen that way you have more control over what is happening on other screens

yes , the way to get the game working again is to press ALT+ENTER but it doesnt work 100%
You would think ccp woulda sorted this out already going by the amount of people who reported this problem now

Are you using different resolutions for full-screen vs. windowed?
Is your full-screen resolution the same as your desktop resolution?
When you encounter this problem are there any other graphically intensive programs running? (other games, photoshop, eve a flash website, etc.)
If you could manage to get logserver to record this bug and include the logfile as well as DxDiag in a bug report we can try to figure it out.

Say hello to Eve's latest feature - the alt-tab bug.
Seems an awful lot of people are having this problem now, including me.
Alt-enter does fix it by switching Eve to windowed mode, but this causes all sorts of graphical funk.

Ya the alt tabbing issues are driving me nuts, alt-enter fixes it but everything comes back kinda-not-right till you start moving windows around to refresh the content in them, resetting your overview and the like.

Actually, I have quite the opposite problem. Using a 7900gs with the classic graphics engine, having two full-screen EvE instances corrupts one of the displays so badly you can't read anything. Only by running both in windowed mode does the framerate run smooth and the textures not get all noised out.

I get this too after alt-tabbing. Using alt+enter does make EVE come back on the screen, but it's missing text and has lots of weird graphical problems. I'll take a SS next time it happens.
