Edited by: Exyn on 05/04/2008 05:03:15 Why hasn't CCP considered making a skill manager built into the EVE-Online website?

To prevent exploits?
Creating a script that would train characters on a macro would become very easy.

No, not something built into the site that would allow you to train skills without logging in.
I'm talking about something similar to EveMon or Skill Monitor Cocoa, but it may would be a built-in feature to the site so no one has to go about downloading anything; only going to the eve-online site.

They have considered it and rejected the idea. There are two main reasons. 1) They want people to actually play the game not just use the website.
2) If its on the website someone will write a tool to automate all the training, CCP do not want this.
If you want the full details do a search, the eve-search website has a better engine.
Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congrated by carebears for the actions. |

And why not just use EVEMon? There are ways to monitor your skill progress on the EVE-page you know. "My Character".
