and now i was wondering if i was the only one..
its strange though cause not only the server is not up but cause usually at server status we get a message..now all we have is "UNKNOWN"

It was apparently down for a bit extra to complete the database cleanup. However, that MOTD message has since disappeared and the server still isn't up.

I agree. This is starting to become a chronic problem. On "busy" days like Friday's and Saturdays it is suposed to be 30 min DT (according to CCP); now days it's closer to 50-60. "Normal" days are supposed to be 60 min DT, but lately it's been growing closer and closer to 90-120.
I thought we were supposed to be moving AWAY from having a DT CCP (according to your own words)? Not moving towards having MORE DT???? 
Just another example of quality CCP service to their customers..... 
But, what are you gonna do until someone comes out with another starship based MMO.... which I hope is soon.....

In all fairness, I'm a bit frustrated, I only d'loaded the game yesterday, and have managed to play it for about an hour. Not the best of first impressions tbh.

On another cout, people that post in defense of the game developers(CCP), Like how they're doing their best and what not. We're paying to play for god sake. That means we're eligble to post complaints when service is less than avarage. Information about the delay is considered good service to me. So my complaint, Where the heck is the info about WHY the DT is longer than usual.

I think the server is still offline...
Is there a forum page that shows the status of the server as up/down and the reason why?
If so can someone let me know where it is?
It's frustratingly difficult to find simple info these days.

And it's just the day where the server don't go online....

Boo hoo. CCP gives us more extended downtime. Boo hoo.
Come on, everyone. I'd like to know how many people can keep your personal stuff up and running 23/7 without a glitch every once in a while. Personally, I don't mind the extended downtime, if it means that when we get into the game, we get a game that works better than if they completed it 'on time' and 'half assed.'

I have to agree the amount of times DT has been extended lately is pathetic. Being from Australia I get home from work and have about 1 hr before DT and am lucky to get 1 hr after DT. Give us Australians a discount if your going to have DT at 9pm and it ends at 11pm +.

I don't mind extended downtime if they actually notify us. However, we've now wasted 2 hours of our time doing nothing but waiting for them to get their act together. A post on here would at least be nice so we can know what's going on. I thought that was the idea of having downtime EVERY night, so they keep up with the glitches. I have NO problems if they give us a warning. I DO have problems when they waste our time and figure we'll all be ok with it because they're the only space MMO around. Hm, sounds like WoW. BOO WOW!

Did they actually fix something? Hope they did.
Personally i'd be ok with a week of downtime if they would fix the serious bugs and improve server performance to reduce lag.
