I use them to get my hangar floor ordered, without them it would be quite messy with all the minerals, equipment and blueprints just thrown on the floor :D

They last considerably longer than the containers you create by jettison something into space ..
I dont have the full facts on them cause I dont use them , we never leave ore floating in space ;)

I would like to see these stand alone cargo containers become scoopable if they can fit into one's cargo bay. This would make hauling "supplies" to various corpmates easier. Being able to name them would be nice too. Q.E. New Dawn Corp.

They are used to transfer radioactive goods.. trade commodities. At some point in the BETA i dont think you could transfer radioactive stuff without having to store them in a special container. Im pretty sure you can transfer them anyway you like now tho.

I think they may also have better endurance against damage than the jettison version. Useful against area of effect weapon damage such as missiles that may indirectly destroy a container.

I thought you could also password these containers to stop people from doing the fly-past-and-grab manuvers on all your freshly mined ore/loot. Esp in high sec space where the sec hit for chasing the person running away is too high?

You can also right-click inside the hangar window and select from two different sort options.

Secure containers are seperate.
For ordering containers he jsut buys them, fills them and drops them into the corp hanagr.

Sure, but after you fill them and drop them on the floor, how do you tell one from the other? How do you tell which one has ammo and which has blueprints? |
