That would be quite serious. If your friend is serious I'd appriciate if he could post information about said container here so I could verify it and hopefully locate the problem before it affects alot of people/corporations.

Secure Containers can still been blown up though, like by shooting it.

he was serious, but he was that annoyed at losing a couple mil worth of ammo he quit in frustration (just temp I think) but he did petition it anyway.
there was one more guy who can is gone he didn't seem to care though but these cans where in same system next to each other.
if either comeback on I'll ask them to post here though.

Was it farther than 75KM from a POS? That might do it... ---------------- Tarminic - 34 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.81 (Updated 4/8) |

Well that is too bad. I'm quite certain your friend jumped the gun as I verified this myself during the down time. I could expect to have missed a single mistake but single one-off mistakes aren't to be expected in something on such a grand scale. It would be rife with automatic failiures as the check is fairly straight forward.
I guess I can look further into this by checking the DB. Are you saying that he cancelled his subscription just after the servers came up? Knowing that would really help me go through the DB.
Thank you.

no he just quit out of game cause he was really over reacting over a can he will be back though, he did petition it. its no real loss really :) I only posted this to see if anyone had experienced anything similar since they haven't I'd think more likely 1) its been blown up 2) he made a mistake somehow. 3) they used the wrong bookmark or positions of stuff shifted in the system
I can tell you though he did petition (wells aid he did) but what under I have zero idea and I could obviousally tell you the character name that petitioned but probably not allowed to make that public on here.

I don't think it would break any rules to give his character name.
If someone blew them up though, keep in mind that the GMs (or Prism X) aren't allowed to say so. All they can say is whether it was deleted due to a bug or not. ---------------- Tarminic - 34 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.81 (Updated 4/8) |

Thank you for that. Obviously I cannot say what I found though. However, I noticed the GM tools to deal with this aren't really showing the reason for deletion and they don't have my DB access. Guess I'll go talk to the GMs.

Prism, whenever you're done with post-patch crunchtime, could you take a look at this thread here and give us some numbers as to how much space trash was dusted off the face of the universe today?

No, not really.
It's always a option, tho the chance that you will read it is 0.00001%
and it if you have the name then it does not even mater, but ofc there are other ways to get the name to you ofc ;)
