MommyCCP, make it so we can have some too." Stop trying to change the game because you're bad at politicking, and can't form a coalition to take space, or broker a deal with a larger alliance for some space.
News flash, if a system has anything of value, it will be taken over by somebody. Moons (ether valuable moon goo, reaction chains, or places to put up science and industry modules), Stations, good true sec status, even convenient mid points for jump freighters/bridges, will be taken by the largest entity that wants to hold them.
I love how the pubbies think if everyone can't project power, their little sandcastle won't get kicked over by the big mean power blocks, and they won't have to play the political game out in 0.0. That if traveling becomes tedious, then all the big boys will shrink down and open up space for the little guys to take, or magically we would set everyone surrounding us red.
"Stop trying to change the game" Curious. Your ceo, your own alliance have complained time and time again that nullsec is stagnant. Source. The CSM (led by your CEO) / the Devs have changed "the game" (sov) before (Dominion). "The Game" (sov) is likeley to change again in the summer expansion, due in no small part to the CSM (led by your CEO). The Game recently underwent a massive change with the super nerf. Many of your own corpmates (in this thread) have agreed that power projection needs changing, with regards to Titan bridging. Maybe they're right about JB's not needing a change, maybe they're not. They've certainly made some constructive points. So why are you posting this tripe? Everyone is trying to change the game, from the CSM, to the devs, to the player base.
I think thats because goons are goons. They want to have Borg like structure. Only CEO have a brain and thinks and other listens and follow orders. But they have not met that perfection so only some of ppl there have no brain while some think for themselfs. |

If they had not then there would be more conflict, alliances would be smaller as would the amount of space a single alliance holds. Building Titans would have been much harder because of this and as a result Titan proliferation would be less of an issue.
It is also too easy to move large fleets with Titan Bridges. Shorten the distance, make it cost more or introduce another 25,000 systems into EvE where JB's cannot be built...or both. indeed, what EVE online needs is more downtime in between anything happening |

Yes, it's too easy. Far too easy. But that ship has sailed.
To fit it, you'd need to do many unpopular things. For example:
1. Limit or remove Titan Jumping and increase by a large amount fuel cost. 2. Limit of remove the Cyno Mechanic for Capital Ships. Allow/make them move via gates like the rest of us. 3. Remove Jump Freighters from the Game completely (or replace with "Light Freighters", smaller faster mid-size ships between Freighters and the heaviest T2 Conv. Haulers). 4. Limit Jumpbridges by some large amount (either fuel use/costs, number able to be placed, etc).
Best of luck getting all that implemented.
CCP will not change these already implemented, widely used features. As such, power projection, bluebrofest powerblocks, and AFK Empires who only enter a system if it needs defended or milked, will remain as the standard issue case for nullsec. |

because when people are sitting in jita in between running missions or avoiding war decs they think to themselves, "I mean, I WANT to live in nullsec but I just wish it was more tedious to do so!" |

I like that you didn't read any of my post, and just automatically partially quote something out of context and think I was wanting to keep the game mechanics the same. The Dominion sov system sucks big hairy donkey balls, and should be changed. Finally CCP is getting their collective thumbs out of their butts, and changing things on that front, hopefully. Read the first paragraph again.
Put some effort into making some political connections with an alliance leader to get out into 0.0 yourself, which was the whole point of the post. Don't whine here about how CCP should change this or that. They will do that, regardless of your simpering bleating, one way or the other. You've got to remember that these are just simple miners. Joining one of the major blue balls isn't hard either. Any 100+ man corp have their choice of blue balls at any given time, as at least one alliance in practically all coalitions will be recruiting at any given time.
The problem isn't about getting into a blue ball. The problem is that the blue ball on blue ball action is stagnant. People don't "whine" because they can't get into a blue ball. They "whine" when they realize being in a blue ball isn't all that great. |

You're in luck tho, because CCP is finally looking in to this for the summer expansion, instead of being distracted by $1000 jeans. You've got to remember that these are just simple miners. These are people of the land. The common clay of New Eden. You know... morons. |

Limiting these might well be considered by CCP, though I agree that removal is unlikely given the large part of the game that this now affects. A simple start would be reduce the range of all jump bridges/titan bridges/capital cyno jumps by 50%. If you listen to the opinions of the Goons then this would be a good thing as it would mean twice as many spots for the small fry to pick fights if they wish to maintain the current bridge chains they've established, whilst on the flip side it may help to make the number of jumps required to leap across Eve actually take too much time and effort to continue the tactic as it currently is. Here's hoping CCP will make this leap. |
