Hello community!
We as EVEZone.nl had the opportunity to ask some questions to Eris Discordia and Dr. EjyoG when they were in the Netherlands last month. DaMiGe was friendly enough to help me out with the interview itself, and we have recovered some interesting answers from both of the lovely developers. The topics discussed within the interview are the ingame economy of EVE, the current state of the game and the expansions CCP has planned for the future.

Good stuff guys thanks. Some nice bits in there, although the English could be better, if I'm totally honest. 
I think getting an interview with Dr. Egg is a bit of a coup isn't it? I would have liked some more penetrative questioning on the economics but well done for coaxing him out at all.

Haven't heard of the website before. Bookmarked it.
By the way, the article titled "Nieuwe regions in EVE!"... I can't read the article (language), but the title implies new Regions coming?

Aside from the tidbit that the lead economist thinks the population distribution isn't balanced, there is really nothing new here.
In fact, its a pretty boring rehash of 2 year old information. I probably gained more insights about factional warfare then, than they're willing to say openly even today.
If there is any beef with player communication, its interviews like this. It caters to the media and to people who don't understand the game, or EVE newbies who haven't had time to read it fifty times.
I hope they hire a community manager that doesn't suck very soon. Their job should be to pester devs on players' behalf, where they can't evade as easily as they do with interviews, blogs and dev chats.

We can't be 100% sure, but blogs like this one suggest CCP has something planned in that direction
