Brand newbie here. I accidentally deleted my agent from the People and Places list (stupid "remove" option is tiny and right next to "converse"). She was my first agent after the tutorial agent (that tutorial doesn't actually get you very far), and now I have no idea what to do.
I tried taking a mission from another agent at a station where I bought something, but it was ridiculously hard and I barely escaped.
What do I do now? Can I get my agent back?
Thanks!

You have a few options here...
1) Open people and places (it's on the left on your screen). There is a search where you can select 'Agents'. If you recall the name, you could find the agent.
2) Open your character sheet and select standings. In the tab where you see the corp standings, there is a blue information button next to each corp. Click it and you will see the info of the corp. In the info, you will see an agents tab. In that tab, each agent is divided by division. There you will see the agents that are available for you and you could set destination from there.
3) If it's the agent you get from your tutorial, i believe, i'm not really sure... you got an EveMail fro; the tutorial agent telling you witch agent you should go to. Eve-online guide collection Web based version |

Thanks Danui. I will try those options.
So the agent I removed is not part of a liner sequence, nor the next step from the tutorial? Does it not matter what agent I use next?
If that's the case, then I'm still pretty lost. I finished the tutorial and still have no idea how to play this game.

I don't recall, so no luck there.

There is one available agent; he is 8 jumps away in a 0.5 system. So I think I will have to find someone else.

The only mail I have is from the tutorial agent, inviting me to come see him.
Thanks again for the info. I think I'll call it a night and sleep on it.

Well, it's not really important what agent you take... The only important agents are the first 2, that is the tutorial agent and the agent the tutorial agent suggest becuase that agent will give you a 10 part mission. When you complete those 10 parts, you will be awarded a 2 ships IIRC.
For the rest, it really does not matter a lot. You only have to know that each type of agent give different types of missions. For example the intelligence and security agents give more kill missions and administration, PR and mining agents give more courier and mining missions.
Also a hint, look for the agent that give the best quality. If you look at the info of an agent you will see something like this:
Name Agent L1 Q -17
The L1 is an agent for level 1 missions and the -17 is the quality. The higher the quality, the higer the rewards, the more ISK you get, more LP's... So if you can choose between a Q - 17 and a Q 1, take the Q1. However, you will need a higher standing to take missions from the Q1 so you will have to work your way up. It is important you take a look at the agents tab from time to time.
Hope this is clear :) If you have any other questions just shoot Eve-online guide collection Web based version |

Vast Eddie - you look like you are Gallente - so here are the Gallente Tutorial and Event Agents for all three schools. These agents are NOT listed under the Agents Tab for their schools.
If you were just starting out - and Aura sent you to a Tutorial Agent who gave you two missions, the next step would be to go to the Next Tutorial Agent who would give you two more of the same missions. This agent is located at the same place as the Event Agent who will give you a set of 10 missions. If Aura put an agent in your bookmarks, it is one of these last two agents.

If you remember what station you were in then you can just head back there. At the station there is a tab called Agents and will have all the agents for that station. ------------------------------------

Another option that I just realized is open your character sheet. Click on Standings and select the Liked By tab. There you can see what corporation you were running missions with. Right click on the corp and select Show Transactions. Find a recent transaction and right click on it and select Details. It should show you the agent that the mission was offered by. ------------------------------------
