Where can i find/ how can i get an ORE strip miner? I see it in the other version types catagory in game but i can't seem to find one. I'm assuming they are crazy expensive, any ideas on price?

I would assume these can be found in the ORE LP store
Unfortunately all Ore agents you can get LPs with are in the Outer Ring

hmm... can you not use crystals with these? I was playing with EFT because i thought you could get insane yield with crystals in these but seems not i guess. |

If they exist at all in the ORE LP shop (and I don't see why they woulnd't exist), you're not seeing them on the market (or, well, in contracts) because they're pretty worthless. It's just a T1 stripminer with a tiny bit of extra range (17km instead of 15km)... everything else is identical to the T1 version.

Yep, the reason you don't see people rushing out to the Outer Ring to run missions for ORE is because everything in their LP store is ****. A little extra range on a mining laser? Whoopdey-*******-doo! ---

I'd pay good money for a complete set of ORE gear just to have it, but no one is ever going to be willing to run missions in their space. The ORE station systems should be high-sec, IMHO. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Automated Influence Map |

Indeed, which if you ask me is stupid. The ORE ice harvester has the same stats as T2, but more range... ________ Invention profit calculator |

The point of ORE is they are outer ring in middle of no where though far from all the other corps.

verite,
if you can get to D5, you can put up some reasonable WTB contracts for your ORE gear. im not making any promises, but people do mission in OR...(not me, but in between ops other pilots tend to do them).
if you want LP costs in order to make a reasonable bid, i can get you those.
just tryin to help a brutha out.

Edited by: Clansworth on 27/04/2008 05:29:37 From ORE's corporate description: Quote: A filthy rich corporation that disassociated itself from the Federation when it tried to encroach on the companies riches. ORE operates mainly in the Outer Ring and Cloud Ring regions, where they have mining installations scattered around in hidden locations, grinding out the most valuable minerals on the market.
So basically blame the scarcity of ORE factionized equipment on the greed and waste of the gallente burocracy. ;-)

Throw me some prices and we'll see. D5's on the other side of the galaxy from me, so I'm probably not going to be able to get out there to put up WTBs. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Automated Influence Map |

So true. I dont know what they were thinking of when they chose the loyalty rewards for O.R.E. Every miner ive ever spoken to wants more yield, which allows them to spend less time mining since its so dull.
Would be nice if someone from ccp could explain exactly what they were thinking of when designing this lp store. Haleuth |
