Dronebays for the most part weren't changed. The argument for the bandwidth was that they could up the dronebay but in the end only a few ships (Amarr) got the benefit whereas everyone else just got the nerf. Don't expect a change to your preferred ships.

Well it makes sense. A 40/65 layout for arazu and 40/80 for lachesis would make them more viable in combat , but no solopwnmobiles either.

As far as I understand it, only vexor/arbitrator/curse/pilgrim got dronebays increased from 75m3 to 150m3 but arbitrator/curse/pilgrim got bandwidth reduced from 75 to 50, so it was a straight buff only to the vexor.

To be honest, dronebay size is the least of the problems with the Arazu and Lachesis. |

Agreed; with the introduction of Heavy Interdictors and their focused, infinite strength, warp scrambles the long range, but modest, scrambling capability of the Lachesis goes nearly unused. ((BTW CCP, good game balance there. We totally needed something to help camp more gates for hours on end.))
I think the Arazu only still sees use because when you combine the less effective sensor dampeners with the surprise of a cloak you still end up with a half decent ship. The Lachesis now has no defining feature other than its slightly underpowered sensor dampening to define it. |

A fix could be to give them bonus's to EW drones and incease bandwidth and dronebay to allow them to utilize the drones as a kind of equalizer. the drones are still vulnerable and easy enough to smart bomb so its not much of a upgrade.

This has been a problem for ages , non-ECM ewar drones are all worthless. This is due to their stacking penalty , which combines with your modules to reduce their effect to nothing. Not that their stats are adequate to begin with , neut drones which don't suffer from this problem never see much use. If they were balanced you'd see them all the time on gank ships. |

A fix is to up the sensor dampener effectiveness from 5% per level to 15% per level.
That's 75% extra effectiveness at level 5, which it sorely needs. |

The Gallente recons have a split bonus. Their two bonus are, combined, probably better then the caldari recons bonus.
I would like to see a boost to the ship that I've flown the most; but I doubt that it'll happen.
