Hi, I just finished my trial and decided to give this a go, typical of me to pay up 1 minute before the shutdown, lol
I intend to do a little PvP eventually but my main goal at the moment is to play the markets a little, I think I will get a reasonably cheap Iteron and fill some of the buy orders in my loal system by travelling around for bargains. Id also like to salvage stuff (almost finished the basic skills) to make a little money and build my own rigs.
Any industrial corps looking for a n00b give me a shout
Been reading the forums over the last 2 weeks, my decision to subscribe was partly made from reading what you guys get up to, and partly because people in rookie help were extremely polite and helpful.
See you in space.

'sup, new guy.
There are many industrial corporations that you can find, down in the Recruitment Forum. You can either browse through the pile and contact their recruiters, or make a thread of your own.
Make sure you pick a corporation that operates in your timezone, and talk to their members first before signing up. Most corps have a public channel, to get acquainted. _______ We are Ushra'Khan. We come for our people. |

If you can stand the spamming then the recruitment channel would be useful. Just keep an eye out for a corp that stands out, then check the corp info to read the description. For a newer player you'd benefit from joining an established corp, as oppose to a young corp that's still growing. Established corps often have the means and the wealth to help newer players find their feet, in exchange for them helping on mining ops and such.
Also the recruitment forum may help you find what you're looking for. Alternatively, make a post in there stating what you're looking for in a corp and see who gets back to you.

Edited by: Mengan on 27/04/2008 13:55:47 Even if you want to become an industrialist, I would still suggest that you apply to Eve University were you can learn all aspects of EVE from some extremely talented teachers and vets. They will definately make your first few months in EVE a blast and also help you make up your mind exactly what you would want to do in EVE. ------------------------ |
