LaVista Vista might be a front-runner to my Corp, if he can visit this thread and answer the question I have posed to the Candidates.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he might have a different view from his position, as I'm having trouble finding "The Candidate" who appreciates my view.

I think he might be the one me (and any Ninja Salvager worth his/her salt) should vote for, as I just read in this thread that for the question, "Salvaging a wreck needs to be an act of agression", LaVista Vista chose "0 - completely disagree / least amount / never / feel very strongly against it".
Confirm or Deny? Are you My Candidate?

I've looked through you state of the economy pdf but didn't see this topic mention. (If I missed it I apologize)
You show that you think moon mining needing a revamp. Can you talk about this a bit.
And it appears that the prices of Dys and Prom are skyrocketing and this is without even T2 Cap ships introduced (Other then JF). The Devs mentioned some ideas about balancing this in this LINK.
How do you think moon minerals should be treated to help bring more of the rarer types into the game or possible changes to how much of them are used .... or do you feel there are enough now?

Edited by: LaVista Vista on 08/05/2008 17:19:53 Well, the problem about moon mining, as it is now, is that it's largely a static supply.
I think some of the ideas about making moons not just harvest 1 certain mineral, but rather harvesting a range of different minerals at any given time.
But unfortunately, it will make all moons equal, unless the bag is mixed up, and there is different type of moons with different ranges of minerals. So we need to find a way so that not everybody can harvest dysprosium really.
So the current way minerals are harvested, will have to go away. A static supply is bad, but dysprosium shouldn't necessarily be commonly available per say, it should just be able to scale with the demand.
It could be interesting to change it into a system where you can set a reaction off in the atmosphere, and have a chance(Like invention) of getting certain minerals. Then couple that with different catalysts, that would add a whole new dimension to it!

This is an interesting idea (highlighted - emphasis mine). Something like the layers of a onion, with moon types having varying minerals at different 'depths' and in different quantities?

Originally by: LaVista Vista I DEFINITELY support changing the PvP aspect, away from blobs and POS. It's just not fun!
Also low-sec needs a hand. It's a nice place, but it's just not balanced. I think the ideas of corporation patrolled area(Mini-sov-ish trough gate control, too?) is kinda neat. But I will look forward to further discussion on the subject, in the future.
these two ideas are just a small sample of the way you think - you have my full support LV

You already have my vote, but I do have a question for you: how do you feel about RMT (real money trading) and its effect on the Industry side of EvE. My understanding is that caught ISK farmer's product is retracted by CCP, thus leaving the seller of a potentially expensive item in the lurch. What is your position on this and how will you deal with this issue?

This candidate gets the official "Akita T seal of approval".
Well, one of two candidates to get it (Leandro Salazar is the other), but then again, I'd have to say, the choice was tough enough even like this. Hey, good thing most people I know have more than just one account, no ?
