So. finally grinded my way to 24 achievements on Wednesday night, gaining the extremely shiny Kritzkrieg. I log in today and ALL my medic achievements are gone. I did not use the console command, and all achivements were gained on public servers.
I have sent a letter/email to Valve, all fear my WRATH
Has this happened to anyone else? |

Heh. Valve is doing this on purpose, to see how many people get f*cked off and leave because of it ^^

I just despise TF2 because it seems rather too quickly paced for me. Give me CoD4 any day

The fact is there was a command valve didnt want anyone out there knowing about to insta grab all 36 achievements. It got out its public as all hell now and people have been using it bunches to get the achivements and the new gear instead of actualy earning them. They have basically been doing it as a blanket thing sorry you got caught up in it but honestly grinding them out like any other MMO makes you as bad a player as those who used the command.
Enjoy gaming elsewhere if you are that ****ed off. It cost you less than 10 dollars for the game and you dont have to pay for servers unless you choose to. You really dont have much of a case. |

Come on, you're not playing WoW.
In FPS an "achievement" tends to be winning a cup/league. |

That's what they call them....
I just wanted to get some of the Medic weapons and continue on with my gaming.
Main reason I'm ****ed off is because they had absolutely no reason to do it. The people who used the cheat to get theirs lost them on Tuesday, and the cheat was disabled as well. There really was no excuse for doing it again, and Valve is ****ing a lot of people off (me included).

addition:
maybe companies like valve need 13 year old players and try to get rid of adult players? teens can be controlled and manipulated, it is difficult to mess with adults... so they remove you and don't worry, as they can attract more 13 year olds every year... school boys are more than you alone... they can spam their young players almost unlimitedly |
