02.05.110 Isaziwa Lai Dai Factory Station
At a second press conference in only a few hours, Lai Dai Infinity Systems re-affirmed its commitment to supporting the Lai Dai Corporation and its subsidiaries. Flos Keisari appeared once again in the Press Office of the company's Isaziwa headquarters after returning from a conference with fellow executives from across the Lai Dai family of corporations. Keisari committed her corporation's security personnel and security assets to the defense of Infinity Systems assets as well as Lai Dai's assets. When asked whether this would have any bearing on the reassignment of Dex Nederland, Keisari stated it would not. The press conference was ended with few other questions as Keisari quickly departed at a signal from one of her aides.
Keisari: Hello once again members of the press. In light of the developing situation concerning Caldari Constructions and civil unrest presently occurring across the State's corporations and worlds, Infinity Systems will be taking measures to ensure the safety of our assets and personnel and aid in doing the same for Lai Dai Corporation and its subsidaries. Infinity Systems' Security Squadron will be working directly with Lai Dai Protection Services commanders to coordinate defensive operations.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind our employees of their obligations and to make public our policy. As outlined in the employee contracts for all Lai Dai employees, any Lai Dai Infinity Systems employee causing a disruption in the day to day operations of the corporation or those of the Lai Dai Corporation and its subsidiaries will face administrative action to include, but not limited to, loss of rank or position and voiding of their employment contract. Should an employee commit actions prohibited and outlawed under the Lai Dai Employee Justice Code, they will be tried according to part 2.1 and punished in accordance with part 3.1.

Yes. Given what you've seen today, why do you suppose that firing disgruntled employees instead of listening to them will help your position?
Just a question. |

Is the employee justice code viewable to the general public?
Also, have you considered forced long-term employment below standard wage as a punishment instead of contract termination? |

Lai Dai Infinity Systems does not simply fire disgruntled employees. All employees are subject to the terms of their contract and the Lai Dai Employee Justice Code (LDEJC). Should an employee violate their contract or the LDEJC, appropriate action will be taken in line with the LDEJC.
There is an important difference between disgruntled and disruptive to corporate operations. There are mechanisms for a disgruntled employee to voice their concerns. However, should the employee choose to not use those and violate their contract or the LDEJC, appropriate action will be taken in line with the LDEJC to include possible termination of their contract.
An excellent example of this is the recent reassignment of Dex Nederland, an executive within LDIS. This demonstrates that the LDEJC extends to all employees.

There are numerous administrative actions that can be taken in response to violations. Contract termination is a final step in response to a grievous infraction against the corporation or its employees and is not taken lightly by supervisors. That being said we will not hesitate to use it should it be warranted.

As with all corporations, Lai Dai chooses to keep some documents confidential. The Lai Dai Employee Justice Code falls under that category. This is to avoid second guessing of the Lai Dai justice systems internal operations by outside observers. All prospective employees are given an opportunity to review the code prior to signing their contract, but are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (in-accordance with CBT regulations). There is the possibility of a basic outline of the document being made available to the public in the future. |
