I would like your help with my problum. I would like to know what is better for running EVE DLP or LCD and what brand and modle is the BEST. 46' to 62" and price dose not matter. |

DLP suffers from "burn in" does it not? In that case it sounds like a bad choice for any game. |

Then it's plasmas that suffer from burn in? Well for some reason I seem to recall seeing warnings about using projection t.v.s with games, or are dlp projection screens excepted? |

if you want to enjoy eve i can recommend Apple LCD - works great for me... i didn't go for the maximum size as it become unplayable at higher resolutions - you can see why... text will be too small for you... and your eyes will need to travel across the screen which can make you tired, set low resolution and sit far away from your screen? why? |

Plasma, CRT and rear-projection CRT TV's/monitors all suffer from burn-in if the same image is displayed for long periods.
LCD's can suffer from a similar phenomenon (called "image persistance") but this can be cured (details on the linkage)
As far as I'm aware DLP projectors do not suffer from this at all. |

DLPs don't burn in. Their quality over time is only affected by the lamp. After years of use you simply replace the lamp, switch your tv on and the pic is like it's new. |
