I agree. There really are very few candidates with the interests of pirates at heart. So far though I'm probably going to vote for either LaVista, or Jade. You both seem to be relatively PvP-savvy.
As for most of the other candidates though (Ankhesentapemkah more than anyone) you are all a big bunch of empire-hugging carebears, or blobbing 0.0-dwellers. Seriously, I'm worried about these people representing us to CCP.
Also: I wish Garmon/Verone/some other reputable pirate was running. They'd almost certainly get a seat. ========== This is a signature, a cunning ploy used by forum warriors! |

Which candidate is not going to give Mission Runners aggro against people Ninja Salvaging? That's my question. If you can guarantee me that the current dynamic will not change, you have my vote, and the vote of every Member in my Corp.
If you want to say that "Salvaging the wrecks that someone created is theft", then you've lost my vote.

You do believe in fairytales too?
There will always be ISK farming in games like this, doesn't mean we can make it a lot harder for them to do so though :) .

Originally by: Ankhesentapemkah Tough luck, chummy. There are many CSM campaign issues of mine that address things that belong in C&P, and that means I'm here to stay.
I have to thank you for your honest answer in regards to my question about your stance on Salvage being viewed as 'theft', and for that reason, I cannot vote for you.
Unfortunately, there are likely just as many Pirates as there are Mission Runners, possibly more, so your choice to give the Mission Runners aggro against people who salvage in Mission Deadspace completely negates what my Corp is dedicated to do.
I definitely recommend you poll more globally for your decisions, should you become CSM, since I believe that you have neglected an entire metric.
Nice Mini, btw.

Isn't this over yet? If not when will it be? No, I'm not going to look for myself.
Doesn't this subject have its own forum? Why are carbear candidates posting in C&P, it's not like they will win any votes.
Why does Ankhesentapemkah talk to her alts?
All poor questions that don't deserve an answer. At the end of the day, I think it should come down to who looks best in a bikini.

At least he's not a jerk like Ankhesentapemkah or Guomindong. Or horribly long-winded as Jade. I was considering LaVista too, but he doesn't drink, and we can't have that.

Tusko Hopkins HUN Corp. HUN Reloaded
I voted for him. Power to the underdog...and HUN were great to watch in alliance tourney .
Never heard of the guy...and that makes me happy .
**EDIT**Hopefully next time around a decent outlaw candidate will step up.

Well, after receiving the response that Jade Constantine might give Mission Runners aggro against Ninja Salvagers, it looks like my Corp might be looking for a new candidate, unless he can be convinced that this is a bad idea.
Yes, I do realize that some might be interested in an added incentive to get the Mission Runners to attack, so that they can return to gank them. That is easily achieved, of course, by stealing the loot in the wrecks themselves.
I don't see why this dynamic would need to change, as I believe it gives more strength to those in Empire to act without impunity, and almost completely negates an entire profession.

I dont know If I should vote for Ahnkkahor Hardin. Hardin Has been in the game for a long time, probably longer than most players running. He seems almost like a dev becuase he does know alot about the game, and might be able to bring some of that old school EVE experince back.
I do like the ideas of Ahnkkah. C&P seems like a gloat fest for people who are constantly proved to be liars as they can not represent proof for their PVP kills. I think She might have some useful ideas, but she has never been in a corp, one of the things I really like about EVE. If the other people want my vote they need to getout here and start posting.
I wish CCP had more peopel to represent the players though, having one player who might specialize in one part of the game might not feel as passionatly about one part of EVE as the other, and they might not take other players concerns as seriously. I think there should be a member for Trade, PVP,PVE and Industry. Seeing these people meet and discuss things would be a bloodbath I would love to watch |

Hmm. On one hand, Hardin will get in for sure, while I need every vote I can get at this moment. But on the other hand, strategic voting might be a bit unfair, and you should vote for whoever you think is best, because the person with the most overall votes will get head of the CSM. So it's entirely up to you.

Hehe. I've already had a few conversations with other candidates, and so far all the discussions were very mature. There wasn't a lot of disagreement actually. I think the candidates I spoke to are all genuinely interested in making this game better. ---

Edit: Changed "will" to "*might*" because of your non-committal answer to my question.
Sorry the only promise I can make is that I'll speak up against those that want to give agro rights without researching and considering the mechanics behind it or the consequences such a decission will have on other systems.
I suggest waiting for what other candidates have to say in that thread before casting your votes - you still have quite a bit of time left. |

I'll look into this, thank you!
Here is the current list of Candidates who openly support changing the dynamic of Salvage Aggro, and thus, will not be getting my vote:
Jade Constantine zoolkhan Arum Erzoh
Ankhesentapemkah has not made a stand one way or the other, as above, and I'm watching LaVista Vista, as he is one of the ones who some of the C&P posters favor, however, he has not answered the question as yet.
(I was actually originally considering Jade Constantine, as she has also been a front runner for some in C&P, however, this has changed for obvious reasons.)

Funny, that by being an anti-jerk, the real jerks call me a jerk.
Pirates make EVE what it is and add a lot of the flavour to the game. On the other hand, carebears which hug high-sec add preety much nothing. Except targets. EvE is a PvP-centric game. You might as well call agressive players 'jerks' in a strategy game of choice (which closely approximates what EvE in a grand scale is). Now, coming to C&P and then calling pirates jerks is a proper way to get elected.
Threatning people that 'be careful what you wish for, I might apply for work at CCP' is being a total jerk.
