Spreading the votes! Very few familar faces there, who the hell are they.. even worse to try to find some info about them. Most of their info is just either interviews or blogs, no pure agenda. But shrugs, made the choice easier. Their loss.

I figured I'd vote singe there are 30 candidates, 9 seats, and maybe only 100-150k votes (30-50% turnout). This makes it seem fairly possible that your vote could make a difference, especially if the top 8 or less candidates capture a large portion of the vote (and you vote strategically, so you don't vote for one of these candidates who would win anyway). On the other hand, information might not be good enough about the candidates to allow for effective strategic voting.

Would you prefer game by the goons for the goons? How about lol-punctuating WoW players? Empire dwelling types playing a massively singleplayer game? Eve is a poster child for why representative democracy is the way to go. CCP has promised to listen to what our representatives will bring them as the key issues. I trust CCP enough to give them billing details, so I feel I can trust them with this promise as well.

I trust CCP enough to give them billing details, so I feel I can trust them with this promise as well. i don't trust them to hold my food... trust is something you earn and ccp have broken that trust more then once and they have silenced any one trying to talk about it making it even worse. the 19% of the eve population already control what's happening to eve since they are the ones actually interacting with ccp's devs and as they say they mainly make changes from own experiences, well what diverse experiences they most get from hanging in 0.0 with 19% of the playerbase 99% of the time.. laughable... it is like they pushed the players down and now they are just spitting at them to see if they will react at all..
