Although the term meta gaming is probably way over used i want to know if any of the CSM have any plans to support cleaning up game play in Eve..One onlyhas to look at the CAOD to see that there are some realy dispicable things happening..Such as the obvious posting of outside forum info. This stuff doesnt belong on Eve forums..Even if it was obtained without hacking someones forums why is it allowed to be posted publicly in the first place? I support in game mechanics for spying and such but THAT is unacceptable.

agreed
and a friendly advise to the readers who dont know yet, or are new to eve.
_avoid_ the CAOD forum section.
If anything is disappointing in eve, then it is how people treat each other in that forum.
No useable information or fruitful discussions at all whatsoever, and 100% flaming and e-pee1ng.

Hacking/sabotaging forums/voice chat is wrong. Infiltrating corps in-game and using that trust to gain access to out of game corp resources (intelligence communications and such on in-game issues) is acceptable.
Reason is that if out of game resources are used directly to benefit in-game position (as are most forums/voice/ship planning databases/operation outlines/chatlogs/intel feeds etc etc) then they are valid targets for infilitrators who manage to place spy characters in target corps/alliances and out of game forums.
But this needs to be achieved by infiltration NOT hacking/sabotage.

As I said in Mynas' thread in this very forum. I draw the line personally at the law. Anything within the scope of the law is fair game.
I do think that posting materials from external sites which contain questionable content should be actioned on in the same way as if it were posted directly, and all too often it isn't. That being said, the mere act of posting an external site which meets the rules of the forum isn't one I have a problem with. Conducting an investigation into how the information was leaked is the responsibility of the site administrator, not CCP. http://www.griefgaming.com/images/darius_sig.jpg
