Obviously an alt, but this is COAD so it's expected.
What area of 0.0 is a good place to be? My main's corp is fairly competent in pvp, have a little 0.0 experience and are capable of flying most ships, although our cap fleet is very small atm. We don't necessarily want to join one of the major power alliances, just kinda looking for a place to hang out, shoot some neutrals and make some isk. I'm aware a large chunk of 0.0 (almost all it seems) is taken, or has massive brawls going on.
SO basically where does 1 go to make some isk, get some pew-pew, and not need to join some huge alliance to get a part of...? |

Regions like Syndicate is a good starter point for a 0.0 corp. It has lots of stations and lots of targets to pick a fight with. And you don't have to bother with the SOV thingy. |

Bruce is anything but a powerhouse. They do have a lot of members but are in full failure cascade and shedding members quicker than they are unanchoring POS. And they've unanchored a lot of POS :).

Start off in NPC 0.0 space and get your folks feet wet. Most corp that go to 0.0 and try to go to non npc space struggle because they have to go with the will of the alliance and it can be a strain and make it no fun.

This.
I got my first 0.0 experience in Pure Blind back when ISS ran the P-2TTL station and allowed neutrals docking access. I don't believe neutrals can dock there anymore, but there are tons of NPC stations around to base out of.
Syndicate is a blast too. I've lived there two times and always had good times.

Heh, somehow I don't think I could afford to setup shop there, or obliterate bob to take that space
Pureblind, with Tri's wars, goons, and the rest, is their any opportunity to make any isk, or is it all pvp. I enjoy pvp, but on occasion one does need to make some isk back too, and Id rather not go empire for it once i'm settled in somewhere...

Outer Rings is pretty cool... Only 2 station systems, right next to syndicate and fountain if you want targets, No so far to Cloud ring if you wanna blow POSes.

Edited by: Inquisitor Ares on 06/05/2008 21:48:44 I'd suggest heading over to CVA space. They operate NRDS policy that if you can follow will work well. Find a CVA or CVA ally diplo to talk to and see what you can do from there. They do give away station rights if that is what you are looking for.
I failed to mention that there are fees. There are always fees |

Venal is also good, though rather deep into 0.0 so logistics can be a pain but a simple sucking up to MM will give you travel routes through tribute to the station.
it has the advantage of being home to PF-QHK station system which is, i believe, currently without an owner, and is a one-time home to many major alliances.
the locals are agressive, but cool. tend to go for fights over blobs and hotdrops (mainly). You can easily have fun with teh likes of PA, MM, Iron, Tri, INSRG, SRBI, ME, SPLR and others all day long.
Just stay away from branch, it's a mad warzone. |

venal rocks.. we setup a POS in Z3U for six month through vendetta underground and rule of three.. we were so tired of the drone (ghetto) regions of eve.. we made more money and had more fun in Venal... fuel is easy to get in Hydra or MM stations (access is not hard to get).
We were there when Insurgency was just getting started .. and pew pew fun... we had three officer spawns.. tons of rats and pew pew fun all day.. great times.. Z3U is a back-end -non auto-pilot route in Venal.. and it's a .6 system ..
go there...

If you have carriers capable of jumping supplies, then any NPC region is possible. Syndicate is good because it's so very easy to find a station to live in. If it gets messy, dock up for a bit until it clears.

Syndicate for sure.
I wouldn't reccommend Pure Blind.
Between my corp, TRI +pets, and a few others present, the region has been completely pacified. You won't find anyone up there to fight except people who have been at the pvp game for years and years. Probably one of the worst ways to start pvping.
TRI and friends aren't much for targets these days in Pure Blind anyway, with all the jumpbridges /them being up north and what not, so if its shooty shooty you crave, I'd put Pure Blind on the bottom of the list, at least for 5 or 6 months till noob activity picks back up.
