Ahoy!
I was wondering if Im missing something here. I cant see any (even tiny tiny little) reason to skill visibility to 5, ever.
It makes your remote buy orders reach region wide, but a locally placed buy order will do that as well! Since the item will be at the station where is sold at, it makes absolutely zero difference, where the buy order is located (meaning, playing it remotely or locally).
What's the creators(designers) intend for a visiblity 5? Where does it come in handy?

There are regions that are something like 64 jumps end to end. So I would have to say getting an extra 44 jumps worth of range is there?
Fake Edit: Your argument seems to be against visibility entirely I am sure some trade guru can come explain the proper reasoning behind it.

No, you re actually right. I m not into 0.0 stuff, but assuming that there are large gaps, its entirely reasonably to have a region-wide remote buy order ability.

Broker fees.
If you have high standings with the faction and corporation owning the station, you can significantly reduce your broker fees (down to about 0.2% instead of 0.75% to 1% without standings). Placing a buy order at a local station may cost you millions more (depending on the size of the order) than placing it somewhere where you have good standings.

You are missing something. There are other reasons beyond what's been mentioned here. Trust me, it's useful
