Howdy, all.
I'm on a 14-day trial and met a friendly capsuleer who offered to extend a Buddy Program invite to me. I provided my e-mail address, I received the invite--and when I attempt to fill out the account information with a new account, I get the error message "INVALID E-MAIL ADDRESS".
Now, the e-mail got to me, so clearly the e-mail is a working address. In addition, the e-mail is grayed out in the "e-mail" field in the new account application that's attached to the Buddy Program offer...so I can't test why the e-mail is being rejected.
I foolishly forgot to add the subscriber to my contacts list, and a search for his name didn't bring up any results, so I'm stuck--unable to contact the Buddy Program offerer to let him know what the problem is. So absentminded of me!
I'd appreciate any help. Maybe I'm just missing something terribly, terribly obvious.

IIRC, whatever CCP uses to run things, it chokes when you use an existing email address to set things up (except when using power of two) |

Ah, then I guess I'm starting over from scratch in my Buddy hunt then. I don't want to play on this trial account anymore because it'll all be gone when I Buddy up, so to speak.
Alright--thanks. I'll be sure to use a brand-new e-mail address when I find someone.

You might want to use a throw-away e-mail and change the name during account setup, later on you can always revert those changes once the account you wish to use is settled. During account creation, the website may insult you if you use informations already used on another account, even if you own it. If in doubt... PANIC! Support Two Step for CSM! |

Same here 4 accounts (3 paid, 1 trial every now and then) on the same mailadress.
So my suggestion will be petition it to CCP and see if they can find the problem Inject your skillbook before you leave the station. I believe you can't have several active trial accounts on one e-mail, but several subscription accounts is no problem. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
