It seems to me as if the recent warhype of some Minmatars has infected the Gallente now as well.
I do not see any sense of war, not even the sense of making ISK with it. I bet you didn't expect that statement from a Caldari, did you?
Haven't we seen in the last war what this will lead to? One side will be terminated probably and for what costs?

Why are the Minmatar being pulled into this anyway? I was there giving supplies and trying to clear the impact area of fuel and metal shrapnel that would threaten EVA teams. Anyway if anything the Gallente culture has more affect on us than our culture has affected theirs...

These "Terrorists" are usually freedom fighters... Not always i'll admit. I don't fully agree with all their methods but they are fighting for a reason. Plus if the Matari people and these "Terrorists" all put down their weapons, that would leave us defenceless against more slave raids and the such... Unfortunatly our fleet can't be everywhere at once.
Where as the tensions between the Amarr and Minmatar have always been there and there's always been small scale skirmishes, I believe this Caldari / Gallente situation will be the opposite and flare up pretty fast.
I'm hoping against a war, But it seems alot of pod pilots, politicians and even the rest of the populations are all shouting for war and revenge. I think it's pretty much out of our control if there's going to be a war or not...

With that I wholeheartedly agree. What I hope for as well is that no one, either in the Republic or Empire, will seek to set the flame of war in our part of space. That would indeed be tragic. Typical idiotic nonsense. Claiming to be humanitarian by advocating the wholesale slaughter of your own people as well as ours. Because let's face it Mr Laume. The Caldari are still the more technologically superior race.
Even if you did manage to defeat the State, at what cost? How many trillions of Gallente lives are you willing to spend, just to make yourself feel morally superior to a culture and form of government you hate due to fear and a lack of true understanding?
I still hold out hope, that both Gallente and Caldari officials will somehow manage to restore the fragile balance between our people, for in the end we are all human. But reguardless of the hope, I am realistic. War is comming. I just hope you realize how devastating that war will be. And when the dust settles, even if you are victorious, your precious Federation will be a bloodied, wounded, dying animal. And that is when you too will be reclaimed by the Amarr and their massive fleets.

Well if you want to summ it up nice and clean, i have done enough service to the Gallente Federation (Our empire) to have a standing of 9.89 with them, of course my criminal acts mean they cannot let me into the empire's heart as that would be against Concord regulations but rest assured my insignificant little friend that the Gallente do indeed love me. War works, war sells, war will rid us of the blight that currently infests us, the Caldari.

Why should his death mean anything more than any of the hundreds of thousands who died with him? Because he was rich? Because he wanted a little more peace to prepare an invasion? Because he got facetime across space, and the rest didn't?

Gariushi was - and still is - important because, even with all the wealth and power of a megacorporation at his back, he was still an honourable and principled man. Others throughout the history of the State have not been able to bear the weight of that responsibility half as well. He was a shining example of the moral standards that all Caldari should hold ourselves to.

Sometimes, losing is the only sensible course of action. If you are wrong, pilot, then losing the argument - accepting the other's stance - means that you become correct.
Now, am I suggesting that the Gallente Federation should surrender immediately because their philosophy is wrong? Far from it. Mankind is so huge and varied that no one answer can possible work for all of us. I have seen for myself that the Federation's ideals and philosophy are both valid. At the same time, however, they do not match Caldari ideals and philosophy. We must therefore co-exist. If that is the case, we should strive to co-exist in such a way as to promote our mutual happiness and prosperity - the philosophy espoused by Ishukone and Hyasyoda.
I am saying that you are wrong, pilot, if you think that your hatred and belligerence are necessary. The world does not need to alter itself to meet your arrogant say-so. People do not need to die just because they disagree with you. The Federation - everything it claims to stand for, the core philosophy that it claims to believe in - is supposedly founded on the principle that everybody is entitled to their opinion. This means accepting the validity of philosophies that do not gel with your own.
The Federation descended into hypocrisy a hundred years ago when it sought to persecute the Caldari for wanting to do things our way. Both sides now have a duty to prevent the mistakes of the past from coming around again.
It's a big galaxy, pilot. There is enough room for both our nations to be correct in.

Take not your anger and rage to the Caldari man and woman who toils under the corporations draconian laws and regulations, take the fight directly to the corporations and their interests, be not blind in your actions but be like your enemy methodical and lethal give them no respite leave them no retreat and strike them where they are the weakest, give them not the time they need to assemble and ready their war machine, our enemie is not weak or stupid, they will stike at us if given time and even if surprised they are not to be underestimated they will fight to the bitter end to maintain the status quo that gives the select few dominion over the masses.
Fellow Gallenteans let not this chance to shape and better the destiny or trillions pass you by, be what we where always meant to be and help create a world that has no place for people like me and even less place for people like the corporate masters of the Caladri.
