Am looking for a good guide that might include recommended ship fittings for running particular sites.
We're just moving into a C2 and am trying to find sources of information. Some seem old and kind of vague others just don't have the information I'm after.
Any help appreciated! :) My EVE YouTube Channel |

1 drake can solo a C2 with the occasional warping in and out depending on your skills. Two drakes can definitely duo any site in a C2.
I'm sure others will come in and post specific fits and/or guides If you want Empire and FW space enhanced, Hans Jagerblitzen for CSM7 https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=66900&find=unread |

Yeah most of us can fit tengu's but personally because of cash I might start in a drake myself. Also need fits for drakes for recurits as we get them. We're just starting out, so any help with info would be appreciated.
(Probably should've put this in ships and fittings instead :\)

Use drakes. Fully passive or active tanks work just fine. C2 sites are easy to run in drakes, so it might be hard to justify the high price tag of tengus, especially as you're just starting out. |

This.
Tengu is faster. And arguably more fun. But it is a risk/reward situation. Given the average isk of a C2 site, an average T2 drake will probably pay for itself in maybe 2-3 sites, depending on ribbon drops. A tengu a good bit more. |

Passive drake I can do npz. Thanks for the help there. How much regen exactly is needed? Can I get some dps lows in there or does it all need to be regen. Those kinds of specifics are kinda why I'm asking.
If anyone has any documentation on this kind of stuff (we'll want to escalate to better sites in future) feel free to share ;)
Thanks again. My EVE YouTube Channel |

Bad, Bad, Bad. Shield Rechargers in your mids will pretty much always get you less recharge than resistance mods. DCU gives you less recharge than another Shield Power Relay. Also, if you are only getting 220 dps recharge out of that abomination, your skills suck. Rip out at least two of the shield rechargers, replace with resistance mods, probably EM/Thermal since those are your lowest resists. Switch to a meta ab if you need to save cap for active resist mods. Switch out a shield power relay and your DCU for 2 Ballistic control arrays. Switch the last recharger for an Invul Field, but note that this will make you somewhat cap unstable (10 minutes with my skills).
That results in an identical recharge rate, but an extra 100 dps with T1 missiles. Just a hint, meta 4 shield power relays give the same recharge rate bonus, but suck less cpu and less cap (Good for certain setups, or if you ever want to fly a Gila). |

When we started in our C3 we ran sites with 2 drakes fitted like this without too much problem at all I would imagine this would be fine in a C2 also As per previous posts tho, Tengu's run through things alot more efficiently |

Bad, Bad, Bad. First off, there's no way you're doing 300 dps with that. All level V skills should put out 280 dps, and I doubt that someone with shield skills that bad has all level V missile skills + implants. Shield Rechargers in your mids will pretty much always get you less recharge than resistance mods. DCU gives you less recharge than another Shield Power Relay. If you are only getting 220 dps recharge out of that abomination, your skills suck. All Lvl V clocks in at 486.
How to fix: Rip out at least two of the shield rechargers, replace with resistance mods, probably EM/Thermal since those are your lowest resists. Switch to a meta ab if you need to save cap for active resist mods. Switch out a shield power relay and your DCU for 2 Ballistic control arrays. Thanks for your input. Resistance mods don't give recharge at all.
Glad people like you visit the forums, makes the rest of us feel smart.
EFT said 300 dps, in game with the ship built also says 302.8dps.
Really glad you came.

Awesome thanks man. Was just concerned I had the right amount of regen/resist to tank it. Was a little less concerned with dps until I got a feel for it ;) My EVE YouTube Channel |

Oh lol, you really are a moron aren't you? Resistances directly improve the amount of damage each 'point' of recharge will protect you from. It gives a greater improvement to your protection than Shield Rechargers. But go right ahead. Seeing a failfit burn is amusing enough. |

I use buffer for C2 sites. My fit takes any C2 sites, including Radar and Mag (I usually run them in pairs, but have run solo in the normal Sleeper sites). With my skills it has 120K EHP (EFT) and allows for some BCS's in the lows for extra punch. Use the web for the frigs when they come in close enough.
I like the buffer because it gives me a bit of time to call in friends if I get jumped. In my experience, passive and active tanking won't help your Drake if you get unfriendly's land on top of you - which will happen sooner or later. Buffer gives you that extra time that might save your ship.

Medium Core Defence Field Extender I Medium Core Defence Field Extender I Medium Core Defence Field Extender I
EC-300 x5
Or this for slightly more DPS at the cost of 20K EHP tank:

Magnetic Scattering Amplifier II Heat Dissipation Amplifier II Invulnerability Field II Invulnerability Field II Large Shield Extender II Patterned Stasis Web I

It's never failed me in my C2. But I agree with leaving the Tengu's out. No requirement as the Drake does fine, and costs a fraction of the cost. Remember this about WH life - YOU WILL LOSE SHIPS |

i think you all need to look into target painters. Help with killing those pesky frigs and cruisers. the one fit with the web is good...but a target painter has way more range.
