Ding Ding USN Arriving.
M-M fun was amazing - Local was smack free and it was non stop action. Goons wanted a fight and so did RK/Smash. We brought in ships to counter pos's that were installed in system. After 4 hours RK and Co. Lost the field with several Capitals and lots of support losses. Goons lost many ships as well but i will not discuss those. Goon's had fun with this battle and so did SmashKill and Co. Thanks Goons for a fun evening and thanks for everyone who participated. SmashKill and Co. will see you tonight... lets make round 2 more fun than last night.

The ding ding ding arriving/departing thing is a United States and several other western navy's tradition when the captain of the ship is departing or arriving from his own or another ship. The fact that his character is named for The USS Abraham Lincoln makes it a tounge in cheek humor, as well as more than a bit of standing tradition.
Being former Navy myself I think it is great humor and adds a bit to the game since he is infact arriving/departing the thread, station, system, whatever.
USN CVN-72 is an acronym for United States Navy Carrier Vessel Nuclear-powered propulsion, the 72 is the hull dseignation of the 72nd carrier to be built by the United States Navy. The Abraham Lincoln. It is the 5th Nimitz class super carrier, and if you have never seen one up close in person it is truly awe inspiring. Watching night time flight ops from the deck of another ship is truely kickA55.
If you understood you would just say "O7 Abe" the man is a class act in game and on the forums.

Except when he starts posting smack, as demonstrated in the recent (and numerous) R-6 threads. When he does that he deserves to be mocked in turn.

This doesn't mean its still not a completely ****tish thing to do. The only humour in it is spamming it in local after you pod him.
