Hi all
I have two questions I couldn't find any answer to so...
1. When I want to sell an item, like a rocket launcher for example, I can sell it even to a buyer that has placed the order in another system. But somehow this doesn't work for minerals. Is that a bug or are minerals just an exception and I have to transport them to the station I want to sell them?
2. I've gathered some LPs and I thought it to be a good idea to get some implants to increase my attributes. I was surprised when I saw the prices for them. An implant with +1 to one attribute costs 750 LP and 750k ISK while you pay ~100k on the market and +2 are about the same in the LP shop as on the market. Am i missing anything here or has CCP missed to catch up with the market?
Thx for the help

1: It's more likely that the people buying minerals have no set the range to buy outside of the system they placed to order, whereas the person buying the rocket launcher did.
2: I have no idea.

1. The range at which you can sell something is set by the buyer. As noted in the first response, buyers are more likely to set a longer range on buy order for items than for minerals. The long range buy orders for minerals generally have much lower prices than those found in the trade hubs.
2. The detail you are missing is that most people seem to think that it is a good idea to get implants using their LP. They do so before checking the market price for those implants. Because people keep supplying implants from their LP faster than they are used up, the price of implants drop. CCP doesn't need to catch up with the market, the players do.

1. When you right-click to sell the rocket launcher, the system searches the market to see if anyone has placed a buy order that reaches the station where you are. If there isn't such an order, you can't sell. All buy orders are placed by players, so it's up to us to buy stuff or not, region-wide or to force you to come to our station.
If you right-click on the rocket launcher and choose View Market Details, you can see who buys it and who sells it and where. You should learn the details, because it'll save you ISK. For minerals, if you right-click and choose View Market Details, you'll see that they're mostly bought in a few places (Jita is one of them), and sold all over the place.

2. Attribute implants are given out as storyline mission rewards, and drop from some structures, as well as being sold through the LP store. *** Si non adjuvas, noces (If you're not helping, you're hurting)

Note - +1 implants are given out in the 10-part tutorial mission, meaning every player gets 2 for free. This contributes towards the low price, especially around starting areas. --- My Mod autograph collection. 2. Loyalty points are worth about 1000 isk per point for most items. Some items like +1 and +2 attribute implants drop frequently from missions, so they're below that value... buy these from the market and use LP to buy more valuable things.

Thx for all the replies.
I didn't know that you can set a range when placing a buying order. This clears up many things.
The implants problem simply seems to be one of supply and demand. It's too easy to get +1 implants. Well I've seen that +3 implants just cost about half the ISK in the LP store so I guess I'll save my LPs for +3s.
