Yes? Welcome to EVE. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Reilly Duvolle wrote:You know what Tippia? I dont f**king care about the current rules of the CSM election. I am talking about the state of afairs as I see it. The fact remains that the CSM is THERE to represent the interests of the playerbase in the continued development of EVE Online, NOT a circus arena for real life trolls like Joseph W Morris. GǪand the fact remains that selling and buying votes is allowed; scamming is allowed; and people who engage in both represent the playerbase.
Also, politician makes empty promises to win votes, film at 11. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Reilly Duvolle wrote:I specifically stated that scamming to get elected to an OUT OF GAME NON-SANDBOX entity should get you banned, and yet you try to pin on me that I am against scamming in general? Try reading. I hear it helps.
Yes, you stated that, and I said that vote buying and selling is allowed and scamming is allowed, so there is zero grounds for any bans, and that people who engage in any of this represent the player base so excluding them from the CSM (much less banning them) because they don't doesn't make any sense.
Why should they be banned when they're doing nothing wrong? Why should there be no seats for them when they're doing exactly what is asked of a CSM candidate? GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Reilly Duvolle wrote:I have told you why it should. the CSM is a real life body - originating from - but NOT part of the videogame called EVE Online. Its job is to represent the best interest of the playerbase in helping the games deveoper develop the games different playstyles (yes include scams, suicide ganks, piracy etc) to the best of their ability - so that the game is enjoyable for the playerbase for years to come. GǪand what about what's presented here disqualifies anyone from being such a representative?
Quote:And besides that dont give a f''ck about the games development, CCP or CSM, and who doesnt contribute i any shape or form to what the CSM is supposed to do. GǪand you base this assessment on, what, exactly?
Quote:You seem to confuse my not caring for the current CSM rules, with me not caring for the issue about eligibility Since the rules are what determine the eligibility, not caring about one but not the other is rather paradoxical. Reilly Duvolle wrote:https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=70407&find=unread So nothing of what's presented disqualifies him. Also, the question remains: how does he not represent the player base?
Quote:You seem to be confused about the meaning of the word paradox too. Seeing an issue as important while at the same time view the current rules governing the handling of that issue sub-optimal is not a paradox. But that's not what you said, is it? You said you didn't care about the rules. At the same time, you say you care about eligibility GÇö i.e. what the rules regulate. This is indeed a paradox since caring about one inherently means you care about the other.
Quote:Why should we as a playerbase be happy to see our subscription money fund this kind of behavoiur? Because it's what the playerbase wants (should he get elected). GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Reilly Duvolle wrote:And i'm pretty sure most players dont like to see their subscription money thrown out of the window funding free trips to iceland for non-working real life trolls like this d**ebag. Well, good. Then there's no problem, now is there? GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥
